I agree with you MarcPS but still, PKR is not that fishy. It has good reputation.

Hey guys i am starting to take things more serious so i am happy for any suggestions on which room to play
1. Which game type you play? nlhl mtts and stgs + some cashgame(mainly plo) and a bit of zoom/speed nlhl
2. Which limit do you play? mtts up to 5$ at the moment but hopefully moving up and 5$ plo cash game as well

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up? i play mainly fr mtts and plo 6max cash

4. How much do you play? (i would say 2 sessions a week (mtt grinding) and maybe 1 hour per day cash grinding)

5. How many tables do you want to play? i want to start with 4 tables max because rake is so high at these levels so i thought to get the max from the recreationals i try to maximize my edge

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months? Get stacking :f_cool: work on my game(mindset), increase my bankroll to over 1000$

7. What time zone are you in and what times do you play? i am in West European Time and basically i am pretty flexible when to play but mainly in the evening

8. Which rooms do you already hold accounts at? i got accounts at stars(250$) ladbrokes (60$+pending 1st deposit bonus) and 888poker (50$) played titan poker a lot but did withdraw evrything cause the software just gave me headaches

I have no HUD programm and i feel like i am not disciplined enough for only grinding cashgames yet, just that you know :f_drink:

Going back to basis and have released might have been a bit naive in just using PS so gonna give this a go.

1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?)

NL Heads Up, Sits N Go (Six Max and 50/50s), Pot Limit cash games and 8/7 game mix (for fun)

2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1)

When i get back potentially between $500-$750 to start with.

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?

Mostly Six Max and Heads Up, pretty open haven't really got a table type i prefer.

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)

When i get back at June, i will be planning on playing 10-15 hours+ a week untill Mid-September when i'll reevaluate

5. How many tables do you want to play?

Never really multi tabled but believe i'd be confident with 3-4

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?

Study until i moved back to the UK in June

7. What time zone are you in and what times do you play?

UK GMT/BST

8. Which rooms do you already hold accounts at?

Pokerstars and 888. Also have accounts on bookmakers websites (William Hill, Bet Victor etc)

Cheers In Advance
Looking forward to using the forums.

Hey Dimyan93,

What pot limit games do you play. PLO? Also don't think you will find any mixed games action apart from at Stars.

Laz

Hey Coinseeker123,

The best option for you would probably be party. Plenty of traffic at NLHE/PLO cash tables and a nice MTT schedule with some overlays atm.

Hey ptortoise,

The best option for you would be party as it will cover both your SnGs and MTTs.

1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?)
My problem is that I play everything. I think my best path might be Turbo Sit & Go or Zoom Cash

2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1)
Micro stakes - $1.10 to $5.50 SNG's and 5NL & 10NL Zoom

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?
I am better in 6-max and 4-max games

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)
I like to get an hour or 2 in 4/5 days a week

5. How many tables do you want to play?
Probably 1 or 2

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?
To only deposit once in that time and build my bankroll avoiding the distractions of promotions that will kill my bankroll

7. What time zone are you in and what times do you play?
UK so GMT and I play in the 8pm to 11pm time slot

8. Which rooms do you already hold accounts at?
Pokerstars, 888, Unibet and Party Poker

1. 2. 3. Mainly NLHE, 6-Max, at the lowest limits so 2NL~5NL but also a few MTTs of the same buy-in (<$5)

4. Usually play 5 hours, possibly more if I can

5. I like 1-2 tabling, so I can think about spots in hindsight more, not rush decisions etc.

6. In the future just want to improve volume so I get a better idea of my winrate and then improve my overall game.

7. I usually play 9pm ~ 1am GMT

8. I hold accounts at PS, 888, Sky poker and a few iPoker networks (WilliamHill, bet365, maybe coral?). Also I get strategy points at WilliamHill whereas I had all other accounts before my Poker strategy account

I just started playing online again and I'm mostly a multi table tournament player but I do play cash games as well. I play sit and go for the practice. My goals are to get into the zone again and build my bank roll.

Hey AceTipper and Cowley23,

I've included some screenshots below:

SPEED at iPoker

Traffic has actually improved at NL10 Speed. At one stage a few months ago, it would barely run.

Cowley23 could consider adding another iPoker room as most have 200% FDBs. This is also a consideration for AceTipper. iPoker also have a regular MTT schedule although there are not many freezeouts. They also have easy to complete weekly missions that get entries to nice value freerolls.

BLAZE at MPN (Microgaming)

There is a real problem with traffic at Blaze outside of NL2 although there is traffic at NL4/NL10 on regular and anonymous tables. MPN rooms also offer the lowest rake structure and 30% lifetime rakeback at 24hBet and our two new partners, RedKings and StanJames. MTT schedule is inferior but MPN have always had strong stable software.

FASTFORWARD at PARTY

Party have a MTT schedule 2nd only to Stars and probably equal to 888. They are also gaining traffic as they are spending a lot of resources atm recruiting high profile ambassadors and running MTTs with overlays. I also love the WPT structure (30k chips, blinds start at 75/150 and antes from level 3) :f_love:

If you have any further questions. just let us know. :f_thumbsup:

Regards

Laz

Hello, I am waiting for that bonus of 50$ and I have an account on 888.
What do you recommend me to do?
First to read all the articles and watch how many videos I can here and then to start playing on the lowest amount and then raising the buy-in I pay?
Or what is the best strategy?

Hi Everyone,
I started playing about three years back but started playing online about two years ago. I have navigated most of the online sites by now and found that they all have very similar systems in place.
I feel that any site is fine to start on if playing cash games but if I was to say which site was best for cash I would say Sky Poker or Paddy Power giving the skill of the opponents I faced.
If you are looking to play tournaments mostly I would reccomened playing on Pokerstars giving the high payouts of tourneys with low buy ins like any type of gambling it takes persistence and the attitude to keep trying when you get knocked down.
Hope this helped,
Good Luck at the tables !

Thank you.
For me, as not the most experienced poker player, this is excellent advice. I will try my hand at these sites.

Hey,
I'm trying to choose the best site for iPoker platform.
Do you think i should try Titan, WilliamHill, Everest or any other?
Or all of them?

Hey Tak1808,

Welcome to PokerStrategy.com :welcome:

With the nice first deposit bonuses at iPoker, there is no reason why you can't bonus hunt one after the other (plenty of our members have taken advantage of them). From a personal point of view, I would start with WH or Titan and then add another room when I'm finished with the FDB's at WH/Titan.

You can check to see which iPoker bonuses you can get here. Be sure to follow all the instructions to ensure that you get your bonus and are correctly tracked to us.

While you're waiting, you should take a moment or two to Introduce yourself! to us properly.
