Hey guys,

first day gone by and i havent done really good, but also havent played enough i supposed.
About 100 Hands after i lost 1 Buyin. I still have the feeling im the fish on almost all tables, thats why i will take down the time on the tables to either until i lose one Buyin OR after one hour of play. Rest of my free time will go into Pokerstudys for the first week.

So up to my plan for the week:

Today: Blackrain Site (Work trough the beginners part, about 15 pages)
Tomorrow: confidant91's beginner Course + the 5 Point plan

How i do it: I read them and take notes - write it down in my own words and the day after, i will read them trough again and mark important stuff (eventho everything wich i note should be important)

OK so u have my plan now, learn more play less for now. Next Monday i wanna start playing serious.

Btw. i was two tableing, even if i read u should only one table, i think i can do it on two with the same amount of awareness ide have on one, except its just more fun to have a little more action going.

Anyone got any extra advice? Even the most fundamental stuff u dont even think about anymore - i need to know it all.

Hello Arnusen,

good luck to your goals.
It is very important, that you play solid on this limits.
There are so many nits playing, but they still have massive leaks.
Don't bluff to much. It is just not necessary and sometimes these players just can't fold.

To your Hands:

Hand1
You make the nuts on the turn (your opponent will never beat you here). You are additionally sitting in position.
He will fold nearly everything on a raise here without a 8 or AA/KK/QQ and sometimes AJ.
So if you are sitting in position and you beat him anyways, i wouldn't raise the turn and wait for river.
Maybe he is bluffing again or thinks he has a value bet with a weaker hand.

Hand2
Your 1010 is never good here vs 2 players. You have an open-ender, so You can count 8 outs (and 2 for the 10, but there you aren't safe because of the possible straight then). The risk of flush is also given so i would count totally 7 outs.
For improving here You have round about 14% and You need odds of 1 to 7, that it is +EV. Your odds are not nearly good enough to call here, so i would fold on flop, or latest on turn.

Hand3
AJo 3 bet vs Button steal is ok here preflop. On Flop you make your cbet which is fine, too.
But for what are you calling his raise.
It's a clear fold here on the flop and you can already be drawing dead.
People are normally playing honest on these limits, when they raise you.

That's the way, i would have played this hands.

thanks for your advice! Yes now a day after i know i called his raise because of tilt. I think i just wanted to beat that guy wich was obviously wrong. - After checking my stats of that session, i saw i played just too much hands aswell. Gonna tighten up again and stay solid!

Today i tried the game at the night time, i coudlnt believe how much people i tagged as fish that time, all the players had over 30vpip some even around 50-60 and alot bought in for less than full buyin or never rebuyed, it was amazing i felt were dominant on one of the tables. - I got a little excited and started to play 3 tables. - Sadly at the end i lost about 1,5 buyins.

I think you play to aggresive.

Hand1: preflop and flop is fine. But as he calls your c-bet he normally has something.
What do you give him? People are very honest, so the hands he can call on flop are Kx, AJ, QJ, Q10 and sometimes A9.
On Turn the J pairs, so you are beat vs nearly his whole range.
I would stop betting here and just fold to aggression.
All-in on turn is a desaster because only better hands can call and you knew, that every hand he can play here beats you. So just check and fold to his bet.
Money you don't loose is as good as money you win. Always remember this and You will safe much money especially on these limits.

Hand2: I would have played nearly the same.
My bet on flop and turn would be a little lower, but you can play it also like you did.
If you bet such high, you protect vs draws (mostly weaker Ax with one club).
But its unavoidable that you loose some bb here.

Week 1 Summary:

Needs Improvement:

1. Havent really followed the ranges good enough, i played alot wider in some spots.
2. Spottet that i do very poor postflop

4. Im very happy to be around breakeven -> At least didnt lose all my BR, i think thats not a bad start
5. I do very good preflop, i tend to steal alot and watch peoples "fold to steal, VPIP"
6. Starting to use my PT4 stats (VPIP, PFR and 3Bet) mostly for now, but i start to get a understanding
7. To loose on SB!

Diffrence: $-0,16

Here you can see my good non showdown but awful showdown. I had a good Campoker session on the last 200 hands. Seems to be very fishy down there, almost always 2-3 people with higher than 50vpip. I think a good place to build my bankroll. Still i want to learn MT so thats why i will play it but keep my focus on MT and kinda more reggish fish.

Here you can see, i lose alot with Top Pair because i tend to chase them to much. I lose sometimes with knowing im beat - i lost alot because of that, so i changed my mindset after learning that folding can be plus ev too, or at least not minus ev.

If I look at your graph, I see somebody who bluffs a lot. That is a very tricky way to play at the lowest levels. I'm not saying it's a bad way to play in general (I don't play higher levels), but on the lowest levels I feel there is no need to bluff and you are simple scaring people out of pots winning small pots while loosing big pot if they happen to have the nuts and you loose a stack.

If I see your positional results, I'm spotting nothing but problems althou ofc this is a very small sample.
SB: opening range is WAY too high. Fold a LOT more. vpip should be 30 at max.
BB: You're losing 70BB per 100hands on the BB. there might be a real bad leak and your vpip isnt even that high... what's going on there ? (small sample, I know)
CO and BTN should have a wider range, around 30-40 for CO and 35-45 for BTN
Your 3bet% are off the scale but that's no surprice with a such a red line. I would suggest to take it down a bit (like half as much :f_biggrin:).
you are not positional aware. EP is solid but the rest is flat, with the wrong exception being SB.

Your results with 1 pair hands are a desaster. Looks like you should be much more carefully playing those hands. Potcontrol more, value bet less.

A red line that goes up is not automatically good. It's only good if the green line is going up too !

Only look at your green line, that's the line that counts !!

Red and blue are connected, if one goes up, the other will go down (or less up). The trick is to get your blue line up without hurting your redline too much.

I use only two tags. Fish and reg. A fish in my book is having maniac stats like vpip of 50+.
A reg has "normal" stats and somebody I see a lot.

I will try to play the fish, and stay out of the way from regs. it's just that simple.
Not that I feel overpowered by regs, but they are just not so profitable.
Why play regs if you can play fish?

Hey guys, sorry for coming up that late this week. Had my last test today and also started a side job now.

- There wasnt alot poker for me, but from now on my week is not that chaotic anymore. - I can easily find 1-3h a day to play now.

i hope some people are reading this. Can i do anything to make the thread look better? - If you have any critics please tell me.

So for now i have a hand i want to share with you guys.

On this hand i really didnt know where i was at. Its the first time i analyze a hand using Equilab. So i had Pot odds of 2:1 (33%) after his raise. I put his range (wich was very loose about 50) in and saw i had a Euqity of 42%. While playing i just felt very beat, because he raised that big. But i was confused by that guy, he obviously was just running good. I saw him chatting the whole time. - So, do you thing the fold was right? By Confidants Strategy it was but if you ask yourself for straight value, then im not sure. Either his big raise means he had two pair or maybe a set or he was sitting on complete air.

Just explain me how you would have played that hand with your thought process.

you are playing crazy maniacs (vpip 47 and vpip 60..), you can't start calling every raise if you hit nothing. cbet - folding is the only right way here imo
