CO showed Q♦: Q♣: and won 303,696 (156,348 net)
Very complex I would have folded.
The call would not be very good there, and the 24 BB would be a lot of to go AI
I'm not an MTT / ICM expert but with a 11bb stack at the final table I'd play more conservatively and not mess around with one of the 3 big stacks. Although it's close and 88 would probably be the top of my folding range. That's where reads become important and I shove this too if the CO opens very wide.
Some people suggest that it depends a lot on the payout structure.

As difference between 6 and 7 is not so big and most money is dedicated to top3, then shove is preferable. But agree, that it is a very close spot. Happy to see mixed opinions on this
yeah - I dont want to tell too much, but I personally dont give a f**** if I get 9th or 5th......

Tomorrow I will update my monthly goals section as 3/4 of the year has passed. Stay tuned ♠_thumbsup:
All hail October ![]()
9 months passed, 3 to go. How are your New Year resolutions going? Mine are here:
1. Make 8 poker trips
MPN Austria, January 26-30 - 0€
Kings of Tallinn, February 21-26 - 0€
MPN Malta, April 27-30 - 100€ - just a small mincash in a side event
MPN Manchester, July 20-23 - 4th in side event - 1500€ (1350 pounds)
MPN Tallinn, Octobet 19-22 - in progress

So this month I'm going to Tallinn for MPN event. It is 500€ main event with some side events, so I hope to get something from here. Besides I own one extra "seat only" and multiple 100€ event tickets, what gives me more room to play aggressive and not think too much about busting. As well my personal best score is in Tallinn, so naturally I hope to repeat the success ![]()
2. Top5 tournament player on Microgaming
Finally I am allowed to play on Microgaming again! But the other guys have climbed the ranks in that time and now I barely fit into Top 20.

However, I still fancy my chances to reach Top10, although Top 5 seems very difficult now ![]()
3. Reach Blackmember at PokerStrategy
Not going to happen probably
The tournaments are not tracked to PokerStrategy and Spin&Go stakes are too low to reach this goal. But I'm still collecting some points just in case ![]()

4. Everlasting study of poker
This one is all good. I still feel like having an edge over most opponents but not going to sleep on it. Every week I learn something new and hopefully I can keep the pace until the end of the year. Here is my SharkScope graph to prove that continuously learning brings the fruits ![]()

5. Fully equip new home for an ordinary life
He is back ♠_cool:

My cat looks like enjoying the life in new apartments. The only problem is that he wants to go outside too often
Talking about the equipment, we are progressing quite well and I hope all will be set until the end of the year.
6. To maintain strong relationship with others
Social life is strong
Every Monday I go to "brain battles" with my closest friends, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays --> football trainings and matches, Wednesdays --> time for gym with my best buddies, and some chill out time on weekends
My girl is coming with me to Tallinn this month, so keeping the relationships is on the track ♠_love:
7. Increase weight to 85 kg from 82 kg
As promised last month, I bough scales. And it showed 81,5!!! That means I didn't gain, but lost 0,5Kg
Will have to put much effort to reach desired numbers on time.
8. To hold a healthy body through proper nutrition
Although I am happy with my health and nutrition, but this time I decided to experiment a bit --> no meat for a month
In the past I was eating meat like 2-3 times a day, but read some articles and watched some material about negative aspects of it. I want to test on myself if avoiding meat can actually bring me more energy and more health. For the past years my meat consumption decreased like once a day or two, but I feel it might be time to reject it completely. I'm quite interesting to see how it goes!
9. Finish in Top5 with Top Kickers in Lithuanian VI division

With 2 games to go, it is clear that we won't catch the leading 3 teams. But we sit in 4th position, which would be a good result for debutants. Besides, this month I'm going to study for National license C category in order to keep progress for the team, and myself as the coach.
10. Read 12 books
David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell
Think Rich to get Rich by T. Harv Eker
Gargantua and Pantagruel by Francois Rabelais
Thinking fast and slow by Daniel Kahneman
The 100 A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History by Michael H. Hart
Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki
Silva Rerum by Kristina Sabaliauskaite
Silva Rerum II by Kristina Sabaliauskaite
Greenberger, Dennis. Mind over mood : change how you feel by changing the way you think"
Silva Rerum II by Kristina Sabaliauskaite --> in progress
I enjoy reading books so much, that next year I will aim for the bigger number for sure
Now let's get to the track again!
nice ROI, 1 of the most steady mtt graphs i've seen lately. ![]()
About the weight: You should weigh yourself quite frequently to actually see the difference developing. If you weigh yourself once a week it could be you're holding water due to the food you ate the day before. Or the exact opposite. You could easily swing a KG or 2 up/down just from that.
You watched some Netflix documentaries about meat? I believe it was 'food matters' that i saw, if you watch that you can't eat anything anymore. I do agree with keeping processed meat to a minimum.

As for this week, I plan to study more as it is my last full week before MicroGaming festival in Estonia, Tallinn. Achieving a good result would really help me in my Yearly bankroll challenge

According to ICMizer, QTs is just about fold. But if he thinks that I push way too wide, then it might be considered as a call. Still a close spot though ![]()
