He obv had implieds preflop ;)

So not a good session really. But 2k hands, im happy. Worst hand for me today was QQ, didnt win an all in. Maximum won with it = $0.15.

Anyway i will soldier on i suppose. Dunno how much i will play 2moro, its SCOOP time Im still up for any staking deals if you have faith in me. Its a 6 max rebuy + add on and i obv have expeirience of SH. I usually make money in MTT's, havent really had a big cash yet tho.

Anyway if so, skype me (jack.h123) or if you dont have skype, post in this thread and we can work something out. Im lookin to have one rebuy myself so it is likely that if i win any monies it will split like 34/66 - 40/60. $5.50 btw ;)

Anyway enough adverstising for staking wish me luck.

5 Fun filled, stress packed hours of my life

Hey guys,
So tonight was SCOOP touney which i have literally just finished the tourney finishing 4070 out of 27k people. Top 5400 got paid and i made it to the 3rd payout structure which gives me a whopping $26.10!!!!!!! WOOOOO! Made 1 rebuy and 1 add on but the rebuy i made was with a second ticket i gained.

Then Mr.Gerv gave me $5 to rebuy on a 33% of my winnings basis, which means that he gets $8.70 + $0.30 for his kindness and helping me out. So thats 80% ROI for him :P and probs doubles the money he has left on pokerstars!Skype me and then i will send you the monies

So i will describe the action for you.

So the first hour was the rebuy period and luckily/unluckily there was some Supernova elite on my left. But he was pushing any 2 trying to build a stack and it didnt really work. He came out of rebuy period about $200 down and with the same 12k ish stack like me. I doubled up on him twice, first with AA and then with KK :P. Lost a few chips in blind because i could make any moves because the guy insta pushed. Anyway after that period i had a SNE on my left, 2nd chipleader on my right and a pretty tight table.

So the break ended and it soon came apperant that the table was ultra tight. This big stack knew he could fold his way to money, and did so. The SNE calmed and didnt play for loads of hands. Then i got dealt 77, wanted a bit of action. Some guy raises so i just flat call. Flop comes A73. IM OOP so i just check. He bet and i raised. He flat call. Turn 6. I bet half potish and he flat calles again. River 3. Paired board put the flush out of the question and the only hand that beats me is AA or 33. I bet and he shoves. It was a tough call but i made it. He showed A6. Phew :P. My stack went to around 24k.
Then the SNE made a move on me and wanted to play for stacks. I had AKs SB and he raised 7x. He had been very very tight so i decided to fold, although looking back with gerv it became apparent i shoulda called.

Anyway break 2 - 21k chips.
Not much happened after break 2 really. The SNE (supernova elite) had switched gears and gerv left me. I think 3 times he 3 bet me and i had mediocre holdings. Also saw him raise 42s and check call down to river with pair of 4's. Anyway ended after this stage with 18k.

Then after 3rd break not much happened. As we approched the bubble i tightened a little, thinking of gervs money :p. Didnt really get any decent hands. Anyway it came to it and i made it past the bubble and itm. 10 mins later break 4 came and i had 24k chips.

After this i had a little up and got to 34k chips taking down a pot with Top 2 pair vs top pair. But then i raised with A5 and the flop came AsTc9c. I cbet and the SNE raised me. About the 4th time he had done this to me and i decided to fold. Didnt wanna play for stacks with TP no kicker. I went back down to 24k and then got moved tables. I noticed how close we were to 3rd payout structure so tightened again. Made it past 4200 for $26 and then thought right, lets move!
Shortly got dealt JJ in SB. Raise from a same stack size as mine. 2 called. I knew someone had a higher PP but still decided to push. Original raised called, other 2 folded and he showed AA :( Some other guy said he folded AJ and i knew on a 999 flop it wasnt meant to be :(

And that was it. I was happy though

Down down down

So hey guys,
After my fun filled, stress packed night of SCOOP i woke up this morning feeling good and happy. Not only that ive got 2 and a half weeks off university which mean Poker, Poker, Poker - and going out with mates :P

So yesterday, i didnt mention that i played around 1k hands and made a small, but good profit of 2 stacks. I also made 25 points so i could cover myself for the gladiator promo.

After that i felt good before my session this afternoon and had shipped Gerv his $9 :) We had a little chat and then he said he was off to play on iPoker (hate!!!!) so i left him to it and started my own session. Yet again it was another s**t session were suck out after suckout happened.

This sums it up really

Turn: ($4.27) 5♦
River: ($4.27) 5♥ (2 players)

Final Pot: $4.27

Hero shows two pairs, queens and fives (Qd Qc)
BB shows a full-house, fives full of nines (9s 5s)

BB wins with a full-house, fives full of nines (9s 5s)

QQ is definately not my hand. Also lost a double stack with it where the guy hit 2 pair on the river. Can i ask, why do you people play SSS!!!

Thats my graph so far then looks nice

Im just about to start another session and im gona play without stats and just grind loads of table and see where i end up. Cant be assed to post my session stat, but i was down about $12.50.

Gee not good, not good :(

keep up recycling through your hands and post any doubts you have at the sample board ;)

and it still goes down...

Hey hey!
So tbh i didnt think it would go this bad, but it turns out it can and will.

But oh well, could be worse... right?

So that makes a whoping -20 stacks in 8k hands!!!!!! Woop! I think its mainly because im playing too many tables but still, come on... i cant be doing it that bad. I dont have all in ev graphs because i only have elephant obv but i would like to think that mine would at least be at -5 stack but i cant be sure. I also blame party and its tables full of Short Stackers that just arent profitable. Anyone, 300 SP's to Gold, which is around 200PP and hopfully i can get these in 2 days.

Have a good sunday, and maybe see you in the intemediate coachin with Gerv ;)

Good Night

BUST!

Hi guys and gals,
Havent updated in a bit because i just havent wanted to, rather grind my ass of than updating so i can get to gold as quick as possible.

So ive been doing a bit more grinding on party and tbh with you, it hasnt gone well :(. I think that SSS on party poker is officially IMPOSSIBLE! There are just too many short stacker and most of them are playin SSS. I do think i got a bit of a bad run as well but its just not a good platform to perform SSS on low stakes. Even my one of my SSS adviser's (^^) said he was asked to make a video on NL25 there but refused after seeing the amount of SSS players.

Just to give you an idea of how bad..

So im now around 200 points short :'( which is quite annoying because 200 points are hard to get. But, ive had a bit of a brainstorm and had an idea. I got the second capital on Mansion a couple of months ago and i played a bit of SSS there. Now thats an impossibe platform to SSS ;) But you can also play SnG's there which made me think. There are $1 turbo Double or Nothings with $0.20 rake. Now its $1 = 4 SP's. Im not 100% sure but i think i would have to play something like 375 to get 150 SP's (which im hoping it will be after today)

Now i might sound like a bit of nutter but i think this is possible. I might have gone majorly wrong in my calculations somewhere :P but im gona start to do this. I reckon i can 9 - 12 table these DoNs and they usually last around 20-30 mins each.

Anyway i will work it out a bit more! Also i still have $10 on party so i might start playing some NL4 and buying in for 50bb. I used to do this on Full Tilt and i was actually quite successful. Dam pro's used to make me act like such a donk

So good luck at the tables and see you next time.

-Jack :)

<edit: Yh i did go wrong, it should be half that >

if you mirror that graph it should look nicer :P.

anyways GL with your game and improvements :)

too many shortstacker everywhere tbh. Yeah blame pokerstrategy for that :P

Coming to an end

Hey, thought i would make a "quick" update.

So over the past few days its been uber grinding (lol uber). I think i have played 100+ SnG DoN's which are very boring, but have been =EV

So i woke up this morning to find i need 70 points to reach my gold status and then i have loads and loads of learning material!! Over the past few days i played some more SSS on Party and you may be surprised when i say, my BR on party has gone from $7 to $23 (was at $25 ) Also played loads of DoN's but also played some Reg 6 max $1 SnG's. I have to say tho all of this has been down to Primzi. Espicially the party going back up. Its ok SSS, when your only playing 2 tables so you can table select well.

Anyway i said this was going to be short so it is. I will update tomorrow if im gold :P.

Gold Baby!!

I like that, Shame there no gold colour for the title

Seriously, how long does it take for you to update this :P

Grrrrr You wanna play NL2 HU?

So it was last night that i was spamming a dutch coaching that only 8 people turn up to when some moderator coach person called me "Kingfishy." Of course im not gonna let that go so i replied you wanna play HU? NL2? Of course i didnt realise that he was currently playing HU on NL50. This person was DeKuip.

I couldnt believe that he accepted but it was definately happening on iPoker NL2 HU table. You have to love second capitals. I didnt really wanna play any meaningful poker last night, just wanted to stay in watch a view HSP episodes but i couldnt turn down a HU opportunity with a coach ;)

So it started out relatively ok for me, lost a pot, then rebought but then got back into even.
This is where i flopped it nice :P

Now i dont have a graph because there are some hands from the night before but it ended that i finished around $3 up and between us we paid (roughly) an gigantic $2 in rake!!! 212 hands btw :)

So it was a good match and a hell of a lot of fun but truthfully i think he deserved to be winning. I played way to loose OOP and made a bit to many donk bets :P which he admitted he just raise and could take it down.

So tonight i will hopefully take advantage of the "friday fish" and get back to playing SH. I havent played a session in ages so might only play 2 tables to get into it.

Will update tomorrow hopefully.

Goodbye:)

Back to NL5 SH

HiHiHi,

Yesterday i played my first SH session in a long time (since the 28th :( ) but i was ready and up for it. Last sunday i managed to turn up to Tribuns SH coaching and watching him i realised that i should start to loosen up and play a bit more agressive. No ofcourse i didnt 4 bet bluff anyone (lol) but i tried to concentrate on 3 betting more OOP and starting to raise more hands from all positions. Also i tried to incorperate boards on which not to c-bet and just check behind and i found lots of draw heavy boards where i could do this. Actually i think i didnt c-bet tbh but we can work on that :P

So here is one of my interesting hands.

Normally i would check/call maybe even check/fold turn but him min betting twice was getting on my nerves and i though i had the best hand.

Wasnt sure about this hand as well. Hard to put him on something.

grats on being gold, now the challenge is to mantain it by playing bigstack?

with sss is so easy to get it
