Obviously KK is normally a call, but due to laddering I'm not sure! Im pretty convinced that it is as winning the hand would have given me a great shot at first place. I was 3rd out of 8 left but only had 10bb. The chip leader had 24bb.

I have converted your hand with weaktight for you. This way your hand is easier to read.
Further I have moved your hand to our tournament hand discussion forum, because this isn’t a cash game hand

Without any pay-out info this hand is for me a stack off all day or we are dealing with a flat paid out structure, but that’s almost never the case in MTT’s except satellites.

Cheers,

Thanks for rearranging my first post!

First place was for $20,000
Eighth place was about$1500
So yeah, I’m pretty convinced that I had to go for first.

How can this be a final table if the stacks are so small?

Indeed, but this final table is tricky with a lot of short stacks with these high blinds.

Its call for me, if you meet AA thats just poker, but with so many all in and short stack its unlikely as a few will have AX hands and lower pairs meaning someone holding AA or an A appearing on the board is lower.

Always Ace :(
But yes, never fold. Stack too short meaning ranges too wide to fold KK.

sometimes u do money by folding. u will ladder at least two payouts do icmizer there u see the money wich u do by calling and compare to fold if u ladder

This is never a fold... Because you cover both small stacks meaning that your possibility to drop out as 8th is pretty minuscule. If you would be smallest one then it could be fold spot with ICM tax. Also when chip leader is shoving last his range will be lot stronger than small stacks which will increase ladder up possibilities a lot.
