The thing is that if he shoves over you, you *have* to go all in at that point. That's why calling the 3b is often better than actually reopening the action with a 4b. It keeps you balanced, exercises pot control, and limits your exposure to exploitation.

What was your plan to play the river when calling the turn?

It would be a quite standard value 4bet preflop. Yes we can think what we do when he 5bet jams but the fact is that he sometimes folds, sometimes he calls with a weaker hand and even when he ships it we still have equity. Vs a 5bet I think this is a stack off. But even if we don't feel super comfortable calling his shove, it doesn't mean we can only value 4bet KK+.
Calling this down postflop would be quite standard also. You simply do not have many better hands in your range. If you fold this, you fold almost every single time when he barrels. You can do that if you believe he simply does not bluff/barrel with weaker value hands.

My thinking is that a 3barrell bluff is very rare. And the river card is also very bad for him to bluff, since most regulars wont fold a Kx here. But yeah many draws are busted here and he wont make a 2/3 cbet with a Tx often otf so I would be suprised if he showed a Tx here.

Yes, I am comfortable calling an AI with AKo CO vs BTN in this spot. I do not like just calling preflop as the hand doesn't play that well OOP and would rather just call some QQ+ combos if I were to worry about balancing my range that much.

I think once we called this turn, we can't fold the river with a blank...I would've called and also 4betted pre
