KK on a A high board

Definitely time for a delayed c-bet OTT, I think, after he checks a second time. Ace is now very unlikely and I can’t see him calling your preflop 4-bet with 22, 99 or TT.

After you check again OTT, maybe he’s just stabbing OTR. Maybe it’s reckless, but I think I’d call.

Definitely time for a delayed c-bet on the turn. I'd call on the river, especially he didn't bet even half pot. Villian is probably stabbing here to pick up the dead money in the middle.

I size down the 4bet pre by 4 or 5 blinds. You are in position and also (not so much at these stakes) but you want to be able to 4 bet bluff sometimes too, so by sizing down to 2.2 to 2.3x the 3bet (20-21bb) you will stay balanced and risk less when you bluff in spots like these.

Sure he has some aces in his range but he also has hands like QQ, JJ, KQs (discounted), QJs (discounted), J10s (discounted) all of which are going to be checking this flop most likely. As played, I honestly think I prefer a small bet on this flop in the 1/3 pot range. It’s thin, but the average 2NL player is going to c/c QQ, JJ, KQs, QJs, J10s also while he likely checks all of his aces. Furthermore, it’s nice to be able to bet some of our strong aces sometimes on boards like this.

It’s cheap, you get value from a lot of his checking range, you do have back door outs (K’s mostly). Straight draw back door outs are dangerous for us here becuase any Q or J can improve two of the exact hands we are targeting to a turned set and a 10 isn’t necessarily a care we want to see either.

I am checking turn here if I have bet the flop and now looking to get to showdown as cheaply as possible.

As played, I agree with the other. Stabbing at this pot on the turn and using the same logic as above, I am calling river. You are getting a great price and I think you will see QQ, JJ or a busted gutter draw here often enough for it to be +EV. Only have to be good @ 23% of the time.

Betting OTT seems ok. But I can see some good things in checking too... On this board our hand is not very vulnerable, so giving a free card is not that dangerous. We also might not be able to get 2 streets of value here. So the advantage of checking again OTT is that we induce more bluffs and if villain decides to check again OTR our hand looks more weak and he might call our river bet more lightly.

But ofc after we check the turn and look very weak, this river should be called.
