Hello all,

I've played this hand and my doubt is regarding c-bet or not. In my point of view the field in this game do open limping/limping with Ax.

I would make the preflop raise bigger because of the limpers ans your out of position. I would make it 100-120. As played c-betting is ok, if you get raised you can fold.

I think cbet is ok on this level since most of this players or have something or just fold. But with Kh on your hand you could check, especially on multiway pot, since you can improve to fd and you don't want to play a big pot (i'm considering that they are fish who play Ax frequently). If no one bets you could bet turn and if someone bet you can call one bet depending on the size.

Cumps ;)

Raising more pre-flop seems fine. Then it’s less likely you are playing multi way. As played you are leading in to most likely fishy players that playing hit and run and is betting close for sure but checking with the backdoor flush draw for pot control is maybe better. There are enough cards that could improve your hand and it’s tough to get value and an ace will never fold.

I would raise more preflop, with the intention to stay with 1 guy in the pot.
As played I would cbet oop, because maybe he will bet if you don't and you will not be sure if he has the A or not.

As suggested I would go for a bigger raise PF.
a. Also it’s good to know if the villains are generally loose passive or something else.
b. So early, I don’t see a massive EV difference on checking or betting flop, having the back door nut flush draw.
I think I’m slightly, in favour of betting because you either win the pot there, or reduce to heads up or building a bigger pot if you hit.
Also you are building the profil, so you get paid in other hands with your monsters :f_biggrin::f_drink:
