At the begining of the month i made some math and i said i only need 20 days to beat NL2 and move up, i hadn't thought that i will be crushed at the lowest limit.

It is hard to keep myself focused when Amaya just f**s every session with me, i feel that i get in some nasty setups every day.

I changed my Ranges and playstyle 2 times already this month, it seems i dont find the right path to do this. But it seems that playing like a NIT is the way to go vs Pokerstars.es player pool.

Today I had a free day of work, woke up and started to play poker, the longest session that i ever had this year.

Four hours of play without a break and i got a great result after i was crushed all month long. Really happy with my game.

But...this month is a freaking bad month, I just finished my second session of the day :

I´m a sad fish :f_cry: today.

This is how my month graph looks like :

-25 Euro :fouet:

Bankroll update : 87 Euro

I still have 5 more days from this month, but i dont have high hopes that i will come back from this hole.

I hope you guys have a better month. :f_drink:

Congrats on your success maybe I will also re-star my poker journey I think last time when I finished playing poker I had more than 10 bb/ hand on over 100 000 hands. Now I am curious if game changed so much.

You're not getting crushed at all! Your EV is -5bb/100 which is less than the rake on pokerstars.es I think, so at least you're not getting crushed. I am sure you can climb up the stakes soon, what are your stats like vpip, 3bet, cbet etc at the moment if you don't mind sharing? If you'd rather keep that private I do understand.

Those stats look good!
In comparison with my stats, I vpip more from the big blind and I 3bet more from BTN and SB, but I don't know if that's good at NL2...

I think the cbet percentages are nice as well!

Scratch that

This is the last session of the month :

2316554646 set-ups and some bad beats.

I will take a break for a few days. Fuck poker.

Hey dude, losing 10 BIs in one session sucks very much of course. But you know, if it is like you say, that most of the losses were badbeats and setups, then there is no reason to fuck poker and take a break for a few days. You should be happy that you played well but unfortunately the fish were just on the right side of variance this time. Winners are not those who never fail but those who never quit :f_drink:

It would also be adviseable to set yourself a stop loss limit. You would have to be a buddhist monk in order for so many BIs lost in such a short time not to negatively influence you. I will have to do this myself. When I am on a losing streak, then I do not start spewing, but I play like a little scared girl as I dont want to lose more and this is where I should stop playing. Maybe you have sth like that as well. Just lose 3BIs and stop playing and rather analyze the session, read articles or do anything else and come back later :)

I think last time I played was in the beginning of the last year but to be sure I have to check my database. I was so inactive that I lost some of my bankroll due to inactivity on888 and they were so kind to not reminded me to play so they can slowly chunk away my bankroll on their site. But at least I get HM2 for 60bucks of generated rake I think and it is pro version.

@Dandiiik - Thank you so much for the pep talk Daniel :f_drink: I was just tilted after that bad session, I have to work on my mindset.
I will keep playing and working on my game, as i said in another post i´m not in a rush, my ultimate goal on this blog is to reach NL10.

@xxnub - Can they get chunks of your bankroll if you are inactive ? That sucks !
Did you already started to play again ?

March is gone, let´s check my goals for the last month :

Really happy with my work this month, of course there is always room for improvement.

I had more than 30 hours of study this month and more than 56 hours of play.
I replied to more than 25 hands in the No Limit thread this month.
And i´ve read my first book of this year : After you by Jojo Moyes.

And here is the graph of this month :

Hands : 29.150
Profit : -19 Euro

Bankroll : 93 Euro

Tomorrow I will post my goals April.

Have a nice month guys ! :f_drink:

This are my goals for this month.

I have a bussy month at work so this month I will have less time to play, that´s why I have as a goal only 15 k hands.

I will decide what book I will read later this week.

May the odds be with you all !

Losing ten buy-ins in a session can be upsetting to say the least and I feel your pain. You lost it playing just over 1,000 hands? Well I have lost the same amount of buy-ins in under 300 hands. If you lost to a series of suck outs, coolers and miracle runner runners then congratulations you were playing winning poker.

I know that you will wok more and the green's months will return !

Advice : don't look at the resuts every session or every day ...don't do that .

Hello guys, i have a bussy month at work, i do not have enough time to play poker. I think i´ve played like 6 hours in 12 days :f_mad:

Here you can find my HUD i think i have in there all the stats that i need.

I know...but it still sucks. Last year when i started to grind NL2 i only needed 13 days to beat this limit but this year it seems i need a few months.
Thank you for stepping by I really appreciate it :f_drink:
