I feel lost in limped situations like this.

Check/call flop to keep his range wide. You do pretty well against his stabbing range and can improve but a lot less well against his continuing/raising range if you lead out. As played I wouldn't continue once you get raised since it's possible that you up against a made str8 (likely, in fact) and/or that you are up against dominating draws. If you get to the turn, I'd fold there too.

Edit: misread that you already have 2pair on the flop which makes a lead much better. I'd still fold on the turn, I think, though it's much closer.

He has 33% against 87xx on the turn. I wouldn't fold there.

That's true. What are we doing on rivers and what are we doing on 6/T/J rivers? Are we checking our full range?

At PLO5 we bet every one of those. Opponent often checks his straight if we check, but on the other hand he rarely folds it to one bet.
