Hello guys! :f_cool:
I am overally very happy with results this month because I have done all my 5 goals which were set for March. I actually think I made those goals a little too easy but even then I didn't think that I will have such a good results as these.

March review:
SNG's played this month: 879
MTT's played this month: 19
Starting BR: 65.38$
Target BR: 1000$
PreviousBR: 138.38$
BR now: 378.38$
Profit this month: +240$
Profit total: +313$

  • Play atleast 500 SNG 6max turbos. - DONE
  • Atleast 10 hours studying, including videos and articles. - Didn't track my time studying, but I am pretty sure it was about 20hrs so DONE
  • Reach silver status here. - DONE
  • Be maximum active in hand discussions as it is only chance for me to for free reach silver status and it will help to improve me as well. - DONE
  • At the end of the month if my bankroll will be 200$ or more try to slowly move up from 1.50$ to 3.50$ stake. - my bankroll is way higher and I have moved to next stake, so DONE

April
I will choose a little harder goals for the next month. My main goal however is to get up my bankroll to 700$+ this month and so at the end of the month or start of the May I can move to next stake which is 7$. If I will play 1000 tournaments with 10% ROI which is reachable on this limit I will do that. 3.50/10*1000=350$.

Goals for April

  • Play atleast 1000 SNG 6max turbos.
  • Atleast 15 hours studying, including videos and articles. I will also try to track my studying hours. It could be not very precisely tracking but just for that I know how much I am studying.
  • For better studying process I will not only ready articles and watch the videos but also will after every article/video or during them write down the key ideas, facts and tips in a notebook so I can better remember the whole idea of that topic. Its hard to set precisely goal for this one but lets say the goal is to write 7 pages in notebook with poker theory of new things for me.
  • Keep my silver status.
  • Be maximum active in hand discussions as it is only chance for me to keep my silver status and it will help to improve me as well. To be more precisely I set a goal to post at least 15 hands this month.
  • Grow my bankroll at least to 700$ so after a month I can move up the stake.

And here is some motivational picture for me as Thailand is one of my dream places to go. :f_love:

Not here with the best news. Firstly, I haven't played any SnG last 5 or 6 days, only played some MTT's with no good results and some cash game for fun. Secondly, as my semester is going towards end I have a more shit to do at school so I just don't have that much time for playing, also as summer is coming I have restarted one of my hobbies - gym.

And I have decided to play and improve my skills on cash game. Why? Because of 2 reasons - 1) I don't have a much time to play now and if I don't play high volume then results in 6max turbo sng can be very swingy (of course it can still be the same on NL, but the variance is way smaller there); 2) It's because in my opinion, and a lot other guys could agree me, there is just way more money on cash games as SnG is slowly becoming dead. So basically you can get better results if u are one of the top cash game players than if you are an SnG shark.

So my idea is to start with NL2 and actually spending more time to study this format as I never have played it seriously. If I will feel very good playing on NL2 I will move to NL5 very fast because my bankroll allows it. My main goal is to crush NL5/start moving to NL10 at the start of summer, in June. Of course because I will can't reach very high volume it will be hard to say if I am crushing that NL5 but if the results even on not that big sample size will be good and if I will feel good and not lucky as well then I will try NL10.

That is basically it. Will still play MTT's on weekends. Gl guys! :f_drink:

playing a bit of Cash is always helpful for the SnG later on. forces to ask more questions postflop and thus get better about ranges and lines.
Good luck and looking forward to your SnG comeback :f_thumbsup:

Thanks! :f_thumbsup: Yeah not an expert but have heard that cash games helps a lot to boost your hand play skill. And not sure if I will ever come back to SnG's, maybe will try spin n gos someday which is some kind of SnG.

However, so far it goes pretty well on cash games. Will post some bigger post & review when I will hit bigger hand played amount so the graph isn't unimportant. :f_cool:
