PokerStars - 80/160 Ante 20 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 27.59 BB (VPIP: 27.42, PFR: 24.19, 3Bet Preflop: 16.67, Hands: 64)
Hero (SB): 28.66 BB

2 players post ante of 0.13 BB, Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.75 BB) Hero has 9♦ J♠

Hero calls 0.5 BB, BB raises to 2 BB, Hero calls 1 BB

Flop: (4.25 BB, 2 players) Q♥ K♦ 6♣
BB checks, Hero bets 2.13 BB, BB calls 2.13 BB

Turn: (8.5 BB, 2 players) T♦
BB checks, Hero bets 4.25 BB, BB raises to 8.5 BB, Hero raises to 24.41 BB and is all-in, BB calls 14.84 BB and is all-in

River: (55.19 BB, 2 players) 8♦

So i decided to call because of the pot odds, is a hand that play well postflop. On the flop probably the best decision is to check behind, i have a draw, i'm on position and this board hit on some of his hands. On the turn i have a strong hand so i have to bet for value and when he raises i don't think i could fold my hand, there are worst hands that raises here especially two pairs. Between calling or raising i think it's almost the same since i'm not folding on the river. His stats HU are 53/47/33 on 19 hands.

Cumps ;)

Mayb3n0T, I don't play too much HU's but wouldn't be better shove preflop with J9o?

With 28bb seems too much, could be better raising first than limp

I never limp J9o 27bb deep, only if im forced to (depends on the villain). Its in my 11-15bb limping range and not earlier. It doesnt really play that well postflop. So for me its a raise pre.

Flop: I play all my draws aggressively so I play the same as u here.
Turn: there is just no way to play different. Only Aj beats us there (and u have a blocker) and if he has it there is nothing you can do. It happenes, WP

I would also raise pre-flop and the rest of the hand is standard I think. No way you can ever fold a straight HU without good reads and even than it’s a mistake most of the time.

Line wise it's a weird hand to be honest.
Pre I would raise more times than limping.
As played I agree with your comment of checking flop.
Turn fully support your move even though his min raise is weird . But if you are beat by a better straight... so be it. Better to charge vs fd and 2pairs.

Well played I think overall. What did he mraise you with by the way ?
