Played another session this morning, went relatively well. Won 1$ from Golden Button Challenge (4% chance). Waiting for the 20 000$ tomorrow. Decided to move to 5NL at 80$ and see how it goes.

Haven't had the time to play a lot recently, had to study for some exams and such. Also started exercising and running in the park to improve my physical condition. As far as the challenge go, things are going reasonably well and we will soon move up a limit. I guess about 90$ should be enough for me to 4table NL5. From what I remember it is the nittiest and most reg infested limit there is, so it would be annoying to play but will move on 10NL at about 150$ so the hope is we do not have to play it for long.

Just a quick summary of our latest sessions. We moved on to 5NL to face the expected field of nits and weak regulars, pretending to be good LAGS. We are running quite poorly at the moment but the hope is it will get better soon. We are running under EV and put into marginal spots way too often. Might be overfolding a bit vs aggression but overall people tend to stack off quite value heavily and folding some marginal holdings cannot be too bad. From what I observe the best approach to NL5 is to go either extremely tight or extremely loose postflop (vs unknowns and weak regulars).

Hi, fellow players that do not follow that blog. Our challenge is progressing quite nicely. We managed to move up to NL5 and make some decent profit. From out next session we will shot NL10 and hopefully manage to achieve our goal (250$). Will start posting individual session results and some interesting hands in hopes of actually forming a discussion.
