Well the bet is quite big and you need to win 29% of the time to make a profitable call. You will hit only about 19% of the time on the next street. Your flush draw is not to the nuts and the board is paired so you have quite nice reverse implied odds too. Imo you could fold.

...or you can shove and make him fold alot of better hands like AK-AJ, KQ, maybe some JJ+ and maybe AhXh. If he calls, we still have equity.

It feels like all tree options are viable, but I like shoving more than folding and folding more than calling. When we call, even if we hit our flush, we won't get alot of value vs overpairs.

Quite ballsy move and not that common at the micros I believe, but I must say I like the idea ♦ But then again I'm not sure if the guy cbets multiway that much with AK-AJ,KQ and if he has JJ+ there is a risk that he gets sticky and calls. For some an overpair can be too good to be folded.

I actually didn't mean that. I did actually point out in the first post that our odds are not quite there and we do have reverse implied odds. Imo calling is the last option but I'm not sure if I prefer shoving over folding like alleen does, but it wasn't a bad idea imo.

Shoving shoving shoving... Quite a ballsy move indeed, especially when theres another guy in the pot.
Think I prefer shoving though to anything else. Calling, I shouldn't of called. So bad. Folding seems weak when we hit one of our main draws.. MmmM:f_rolleyes:

We need him to fold 61% of his range when we have a pure bluff. With the fact that we still have equity vs almost all of his calling range, the real required fold equity is even smaller. I guess it would even be enough for us that he folds only 40%.

I don't have an equilab atm, but maybe will do the math later.

If we are only 2 in the pot - shove seems like a nice option.

Is it very nitty to fold this preflop against this huge of a 3bet?

It is a squeeze, not a 3bet. If this was BBvsBTN 3bet I think folding might be a bit tight but now that BB gets a very good price to call with a wide range his squeezing range can be a bit tighter. KJ can be dominated often so I think folding might be an option here.
