I don't mind that play. If your opponents are all very tight I think it would work enough to make it worthwhile and it also puts you in a position to make further moves down the track.

Again if you opponents are tight you have an easy fold to a re-raise so your'e not going to risk your stack and there is no need to.

However if they are at all loose that is definitely push/fold time and I think a marginal call either way.

Hi, this is a push or fold situation, nothing wrong with a push here... if you intend on folding to a reraise, then yes it is burning money...


I'd also push here.
The disadvantage of r/f is that you will often fold the best hand with good odds and you play a pure steal with a pretty decent hand. The only advantage would be that your A makes it less likely that your opponents have an A as well.
Another disadvantage of the raise is that you will get called regularly and then you're in complicated situations as a c-bet is already quite expensive and you won't have a pair in the majority of the cases.
