I think you should have raised OTF. If he has a hand you can get value from he will often call at least once. You also need to protect your hand. I get why you didn't raise but on the other hand if we think villain is just going to fold very often, then we should just start raising him way more often. Now you kind of slowplayed it OTF and imo only reason to do so is if our hand is not that vulnerable and villain looks aggressive and likes to barrel.

Okay yes I understand what you are saying. Almost like saying "the turn bricked so why raise here and not OTF" right?

But yes I agree with what you say. I will bare this in mind in the future. I guess I was scared of him folding hands like KJ or AQ.

Had it not been for the second heart, would you still raise OTF or is checking okay on flop and turn?

Most likely I would have kept it simple and go straight for value with a flop raise.

I think you might get called even with some weaker Kx OTF, not only AK,KQ. Also whole bunch of draws might call too.

A x/r OTF looks less strong than OTT. So this should be an opportunity to extract some value out of Qx, Kx and drawy hands as well.

As played: Checking twice to him, showing weakness, but then ur crushing his range with the raise. Maybe another flat and hoping for x/r OTR?

After missing a value OTF I wouldnt like to miss it again OTT too. Also I wouldnt like to rely on hoping for him to bet OTR, because playerpool tends to fall toward pasivity OTR, if the texture of the board doesnt get changed massively. Given the fact that a lot of river cards would be a brick I would not like to rely on his river bet. But yeah Idk I wouldnt be in this spot OTT, but if I happened to be in this spot I wouldnt like to lose my value again.
