[Closed] $2.4 Q6s call from BB

I havn't checked the equilator but seen you're getting almost 3:1 odds that call looks good against anything but QQ+ and since the villain would have a very wide range I would think you would probably be closer to 3:2 against his range therefore a call is fine.

It's good odds but you're pretty much on the bubble. I'd lay it down and shove on someone else. You still have some FE against the big stacks (assuming you had already paid the BB with that 2300 stack)

If you have 2300 and didn't pay the blind yet, you can't call just becouse you are left with only 900 if you loose.

Nice hand well played. We can't fold our hand here, the odds are simply too great.

I'm leaning slightly towards folding this one, odds arent THAT great and it just looks like a bad ICM situation for it tbh (your stack is OK, considering the shortstack you're pretty close to the money).
You still have some FE even when you fold, so I think folding and looking for spots to push first-in is just the better option here.

I think I would have to call this, villain push range must be way wider than Q6s and even if its not, I still think the call is a good one with the odds you're getting

Looking at it from a purely ICM perspective, our situation here looks really good. We are third in chips, 2 from the money but there are two shortstacks. ICM also accounts for the fact that even if we double up here, our situation doesn't improve dramatically because there are still 2 bigger stacks than us (by quite a bit).

However when the blinds are this large, we need to consider a couple other things. For example, what happens if we fold the hand? If we fold the hand our direct opponent Grann20 wins a massive pot without showdown. Stacks then look like this:

Couple important things about this situation:

We then become 4th in chips with most likely the bubble coming. We have a bit of fold equity against Grann20 (still not much!), but no fold equity against any other players. Bigstacks get a free push against us. Basically if we fold, our spot sucks.

If we call and lose, stack sizes look like this:

Hero (900)
Grann20 (3100)
Denej (830)
irmax (5010)

This spot isn't actually that much worse than the first one; our FEQ against Grann20 is now 0..

So basically calling >>>> folding because if we call and lose our spot isn't that much worse than if we outright fold. Not to mention Q6s fares incredibly well against his pushing range here (I'd probably push ATC in his spot at this limit). This hand is harder to judge if blinds were 200/400, but against capable opponents I call in that spot too. 300/600 we have no choice.
