IMO this would be even better if he had 5 BIs for SSS. $10 anyone?

You should be the guy coming to the private PStars tournies asking to send them $5 so they can be rich.

If you expect to make $50 daily on NL20 with a BR of 6,5BI you'll be to NL50 in no time, provided you're lucky.

There really is no realism in your forecast. If you would be able to beat those limits that easy there wouldn't be any point in playing those limits. You would be rich in no time. That doesn't make any sense.

Why is it pointless?

I mean... I'd rather get rich on lower limits than break even on higher limits.

Because if you would be able to crush NL20 that easily you would also be able to crush the higher limits. Especially when you use SSS, you should be able to climb a limit every day.

Dude how can you survive something like this...

This is for NL25 but it's the same concept... and from the EV line you see that you can be playing solid +ev poker most of the time and still have 10BI swings like that and end up breakeven after 10k hands.

You're basically praying for a heater but a majority of the time you will be disappointed & broke.

This looks just like my NL20 graph, but lowest point about $140

Should I post a real downswing graph? 10 buy ins is what I swing in one session.

10BI already has him covered so no need to scare him more

/me contemplates moving to Lithuania

Fongie, I've been living in Sweden for some time, so before you consider moving to Lithuania, you should know:

Decent wage is not $700, as NiekamNeidomu might have made you believe. Cashiers make that here, and this is not Sweden, so they are at the lower end of the income distribution curve :) Being unemployed is also not very profitable, unless you are good @ poker :P

Real estate is still more expensive than in Stockholm, though you can (unsurprisingly) get good rent deals nowadays.

Bars charge at least $2 for a beer. But enjoying it to the fullest will require a bigger BRM than $700 :)

The temperature outside is 11 degrees Celsius, and it's middle of May for god's sake!

Anyways, if you do decide in favour of moving (don't get me wrong, I do love this country), drop me a message, I'll buy you a beer

Oh, and keep in mind that taxi drivers will try to rip you off :)

Haha, thanks for the info :) I am now really looking to move though  I'm comfortable right here :)

oh and [x] <- wants to see Tribuns graph ;)

My current downswing (I just want it to stop!):
edit: I think I may finally be leveling out. I moved back down to the micros in order to rebuild my bankroll and win back my money. Wish me luck!

My words of advice: have at least 1k buyins and always be willing to move up a limit to recover your losses!

I wonder this thread is allready alive. So I have to send some update here. I made it up to $165 and then bad streak comes and today I was down to $99 then I turned lucky and now I have $145. So I erased whole yesterday's profit.

So you see that it is hard and I am NOT able to make profit $50 every day. Today was quite tilty exception where I have played to get it back.

But I have to clear rest (95%) of my $500 bonus in less then one month. So I have to be quick...

I am glad to see that you are finally bankrolled for NL20. A lot of people thought that you would go broke with your 5BI, but you never gave up hope!

I do not mean to scare you, but chasing after a bonus is what cause my -$700k downswing. Give up while you still can...

In all actuality, it is good to see that you are making a profit. I am actually trying to make similar profits at NL25 (NL20 is not offered at the site that I am currently playing at). I should be able to clear my bonuses in the next week (about 30% of the way to $325).
