SB: $14.82 (296.4 bb)
BB: $4.36 (87.2 bb)
Hero (UTG): $8.06 (161.2 bb)
MP: $5.14 (102.8 bb)
CO: $6.62 (132.4 bb)
BTN: $14.74 (294.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A♥: A♣:
Hero raises to $0.15, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.15, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.37) 3♣: J♠: 9♠: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.23, BTN calls $0.23

Turn: ($0.83) 8♦: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.53, BTN raises to $1.06, Hero calls $0.53

River: ($2.95) K♦: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.40, Hero folds

I had only 4 hands from the villain, not enough. Should I have fired or called OTR, or folded OTT? I'm having second thoughts.

It's nasty you don't have reads on him, but it's always tough to fold AA post-flop.
I think you are to often behind against 2 pair or better to call the turn.
I doubt a random NL5 player would min raise as bluff.

4x pf, If you call turn you have to call this river imo..

On a short handed table 3x seems big enough for me pre-flop or you deal with passive players.

That board connects a lot with that sort of hands he's expected to play on the BTN against UTG, like KJ, QJ, QT, JT, J9, Q9, K9, K8.
I think I'm folding to the min-raise OTT. It looks very strong to me.
The river is not a good card because it completes a lot of draws, so I fold here as well.

standard bet/fold on turn unless you know better. people juts have 2p+ way too often, 80%-90% of the time based on experience. you're not getting the right pot odds vs this strong range.

River doesn't change anything - QT already got there. Would he continue to value bet KQ KT if he did bluff raise the turn? I don't know.

I agry with mbml River doesn't change anything - QT already got there. I would raise even after the flop, AA are the highest pair. Its great possibility.

Thanks for reviewing. You're right. Most of the times they raise on this spot they are already setted or two paired. I should have folded OTT.

I can agree with the fold OTT. It is fine to follow baluga theorem if we don't have any info. But in today's games turn raises as a bluff start to get more common. That 2pair+ 80-90% of the time seems to be too much. I would say somewhere around 60% would be more accurate.
