Easy fold? I didn't have any reads on the IR, the reraiser was a reg.

i think we can easily call since the reraiser is a reg.
i don`t see the IR call often.

and the reraiser would probably reshove a pretty wide range.

cause he has lots of FE against everybody on the table. since you are the shorty

and thats exactly the reason why we should shove. even after the ir folds wich he would do often youre still the shorty.

youre ahead of his range and after the shove almost certain of the money.

looks like an (easy) fold since I'm not even sure if you can call an openpush with AKo here?
Reg's won't resteal THAT wide either without a good read imo, since loose resteals are only +$Ev if villain finds his fold button often enough.

Hello,

Easy fold, hope that someone gets kicked out.

Best regards,

the minraise with 12 bb seems a lot like stealing.

i would resteal as well as the btn.

if you want to play a hand you usually go for FE here. so i think we are pretty safe against ranges.

but hey i don`t know exactly what his minraise stands for.
and what the reraiser thought it stood for.
but the OR could only call here pretty tight.

its such a nice bubble spot to push any two from the bigstacks position.

Call that shiz!! I reckon he'd resteal with A10+ and a bunch of pockets. You're shortstacked anyway, so it's not like you can wait through the bubble.

Also...PLAY TO WIN!!!

Neither did I at the time of this hand. I later found out that the minraise meant crap because villian minraised every orbit from the CO or BTN. The reraiser probably picked up on that and made a (loose?) resteal here. So in retrospect I think calling would have been okay here.

It really depends on your reads here. I tend to call as you could easíly call a push from the BU and the minraiser should not make you run a lot worse against his range as you have him dominated in an even higher percentage of the time.

calling an openpush from BU becomes +$EV when he openshoves 18% (so it should be OK vs unknown)
(assuming tight overcall range for BB)

AS played (CO minraises)
I fed this to the sng lizard, turns out shoving is -$EV against pretty much every range here.

I've messed around with extreme ranges here (minraise 98%, overcall 4% for CO ;;; every overpush range for BU) and shoving AKs here is always -$EV.

To be honest I do not understand this. In the extreme case that CO folds every hand after two all ins his minraise is just deadmoney and therefore our call must be even more +$EV than without him. Sure, he won't fold every hand, however he will only call in very few cases especially since we block some AA and KK constellations and we have a loose read on his range.
Maybe the range that CO calls the push from BU when you fold is too loose and therefore Wizard thinks it is better to fold?

no that's not the way the wizard works, it just calculates the change in EV I think

edit: your argument does make a lot of sense. I'll recheck the wizard

edit2: no idea what's going on with wizard, I've set openraise at 100% and call at AA only and it's still -$EV for every pushrange from BU.

I'm not sure if the callrange from CO is the range he overcalls my shove with.

This is an unexpected result. Perhaps icm wizard does calculate the difference between -- hero pushes-- and --let villains battle it out--. Letting CO and BU "battle it out" here is def +$EV for you since they can bust eachother :)

But that still doesn't make sence, because the EV graph is all negative for the BU pushrange..

This seems too marginal to me. Not every Reg will push a wide Range over the minraiser. I just fold this and call JJ+ or even QQ+.

i would easily call that...if i knew BU was a reg..because my restealing range would be very wide..he has endless FE vs CO.

As I said this really depends on reads. Not only what we think about the IR and the pusher but as well what we think the BU thinks about CO.
In case Co plays mr/f a lot and we know BU is an aggressive Reg I still like the call. With other reads however, this can turn into a quite easy fold.

what if you have no reads at all, cuz you have been 12 tabling? would it be rather a call or a fold?

steinek you're a very wise man.

Totally agree with the first reply. It's so standard to mr/f to a shove in these SnGs, while mr/c to a rr, which makes me put the REG on a pretty wide range; it's basically a re-steal since he knows the probability of SB or BB calling his shove is very unlikely. So yeah, pretty wide. I think I'd call with AKs after some thinking ;> Maybe I'm just way off tho *glare*

How do I deserve this? Or is there some irony in it? I do not really get it.
@HasuHasi: When you have no reads at all on the regulars you play too many tables! If they are unknown to me I fold because I do not put a fish on a wide restealingrange.
