Problem on the bubble is that you need to raise/fold any hand in a spot like this and especially if the BB knows this I would just fold or just shove right away with a hand like AQo. Only if you deal with 2 tight players I would raise/fold here.

Thanks for analysis, that was my thought, similar thing in a hand but with Jacks, 4 paid $22 tickets, 5th gets $5.

Shove would be an option but think would be bad as not everyone plays optimal as if I shove BB should fold every single hand, but some players will call off with Strong hands.

For 1st hand I would say excatly the same than @SDK1987 did. But in that case I would prefer open shove simply because BB will probably not call to often. Unless he is fun player and wanna win satellite. If that's the case then rather fold. Other think why I would prefer open shove with that hand is that u don't have big chip advantage from shortest stack. So u need to play some hands and when CL is aggro open shove is best move.

For 2nd hand I would say that it is much different situation. There are 2 opponents that have lower chip stack than u. So I would rather take tight fold here. Especially if opponent is aggro. And maybe u don't even need to play a hand anymore and still get a ticket. Most important here is dynamic of a table. What kind of players are short stacks. Are they aggressive or more on passive side. If they are aggro and CL is folding to there shove a lot, then u need to open shove that one. if they are constantly play against each other, then just step back and watch, because most of the time u will get that ticket without any effort.
It is no unike strategy here. Another problem is that if BB call u and u win, he is not loosing a lot. Just chip lead, which still give him very good chance of getting ticket. And because of that he might call u wider then he should. Also because of that reason I prefer fold. I would go all in with KK+. Anyway u still have 20bb.

U also say that he should fold every single hand. Maybe because u give urself too tight of range. It is not like he need to fold AA.

What about limping? Another nice strategy against aggro guys BVB is limping. U loose less chips by that

Satellites like those are more like SNGs so the same strategies apply. On the Bubble it's more a PUSH / FOLD situation Following ICM depending on other Stack Sizes. Then you can slightly deviate from ICM with specific reads on opponents. Tighten UP or Loosen UP the ranges but no room for impros on the Bubble of a Sat IMO.

The big difference with a SNG is that the bubble factor of a satellite is huge in compare with any bubble of any SNG or MTT format. It's the same bubble factor as a double or nothing SNG.
