Hey guys, Villain is 21/14 after 200 hands. How should this be played? I guess by shoving I isolate myself only to better hands? Should it be call OTT and call or fold OTR depending on river card? (Any spade or Jack means calling)

SB checks, Hero bets $0.32, BTN folds, SB raises to $0.64, Hero calls $0.32

Turn: ($1.78) 3♠: (2 players)
SB bets $1.28, Hero raises to $8.52, SB calls $2.93 and is all-in

Here I quite like 3betting the flop as it allows to stack off versus lower Jx before a scare card comes killing the action.
Bet/calling is still fine though.

From the flop, I think with SB calling range, he may hit a 5 or a J on the flop.
Your Turn bet was good in order to isolate him further. From here, I believe he must have either a trip 5 at least (A5, 55 or 65s). He may have another AJ but based on his stat, I don't think so.

What was the result?

I am little confused here. Some time before I posted a hand and advices were to not 3bet overpair OTF, since by doing that I only get called by better hands. How come here is doesn't apply? Is is because the board is so dry, which means villain will probably stack lighter? Where is the line?

Yes, here villain can very well have KJ or TT (and QQ or 5x not so much), and your hand is pretty vulnerable, whereas in the previous example villain could have lots of better hands and less incentive to call with worse.

Hmm without analyzing this spot further my line would probably be call flop and call turn.

How? We have AJ here, so if we are now ahead, only K and Q pretty much suck for us. If villain has a pocket pair, or K or Q or even KQ, he has from 2 to 6 outs against us. And we have a backdoor flush draw to go with our hand. I don't see how this is so vulnerable.

Has he ever raised cbet before for these 200 hands? If he is quite passive postflop i would most probably call the turn and fold river unimproved (spade or J). If he has high flop raise tendencies i would call him down

@la55i : I was saying pretty vulnerable compared to the other spot he mentioned where he had OP and was told not to 3bet the flop. Here it makes more sense, relatively speaking.

I would like to know his PF stats, that would help making a decision.
Going all in with tptk vs a guy that doesnt seem fishy usually isnt good business.
Not knowing more i would say ur odds of winning are the 19% u get from the FD.
