For me is easy fold. All of possible draws came, your hand is trash atm and I see no fold equity to hit the pot.

Well I'm obv not durrr but I guess its just the low variance variation, on the other side he's probably capeable of repping a wider range after checking back which means e.g. turning 2pairs into bluffs occasionally. against straight forward players who you don't need to balance against I'd just bet the flop.
i think the idea is just that if you do this with top2 you don't get yourself in awful slightly ahead/way behind situations where you either get valuetowned by stacking off against sets (if you always get it in on the flop with top 2) or folding the "best hand" to weak+ draws (if you always bet/fold the flop). I don't think it's really balancing.. it just lets you keep the pot small with a hand that has showdown value unimproved.
against overaggro opponents it's different because we can easily bet/shove vs them, and against too passive opponents a bet/fold is great. checking back is only really against TAG/good aggressive opponents.
So hero checks flop, villain bets 8:h turn, hero?? I think if hero checks, hero doesn't fold now?
My plan was b/c flop and shove blank turn. I don't expect BB to c/r only with really really monster hand.
ya the problem that comes along with that is once villain stars to lead turns often once you start checking back. against passive ones I even let go if I check back and the flush gets there.
