Cbet OTF is meh imo. Board is so dry, I basically have no FE imo. Control the pot right here is fine?
Turn call is correct imo. Flush and straight draw make it easy. Should I raise this?
His check OTF means nothing a the bet OTT looks like he has something decent.
River... board pairs. I think my J high could be good, but very few times.
Do I have a bluff?
Cbet dude ! You can keep up on any heart, eight, ten, jack or queen ! And you have some FE.
As played your J-high is nearly never good river lol come on. Just give up.
Easy cbet on the flop and bet on any heart or overcard on the turn. His range is so weak on that board that you can practically triple barrel on almost every rundown.

I think you have much more FE when the board is so dry rather than draw heavy board. People want to call to complete their draws thats why they are calling more often on wet board. This flop is perfect for cbet imo. Especially when its a paired board your FE is even higher imo. And of course, there are so many turn cards you can continue barreling if opp has a call with small pocket pair or overcards or whatever.

I know that. But I also know that good players know that. So, you can't always cbet this spots because you're being predictable.
Good players will adapt.
So, I agree that as a standard play, bet OTF is fine. But, we have to check sometimes.
This was a case where I decided to check and se nothing wrong about it.

Yes but no. So in the end, no, really.
I hate to break this to you but you aren't playing good players. And joke aside the thing is betting this combo in this spot isn't something you have to mix because otherwise there would be a way for a savvy player to react. They just can't. They have too much of a range disadvantage to check/raise a lot for example. And you can defend enough of your range easily enough against that, or against overfloats, or against anything imaginable.
Anyway even if there was a problem with betting too much in this spot, which once again I'm pretty sure there is not, I'd slow down by not betting other combos before holding on this pecular one that is so suited for betting. So next time please just bet this combo and don't level yourself.
From what stake do you start to face "good" players? ♦
Sometimes I feel like I overthink spots and that could even be a leak.
And yes, I agree that at the micros you won't be exploited by cbet here 100% of the times.
But damn, I think those are habits you'll have some difficulty to get rid of when you move up.

I don't know, haven't been there yet nor have seen friend there ♦
Well of course the more you move up the more there are decent players but they are all humans.

Well it's already a better sign than the opposite but yes. As long as you think a lot about a spot it should show that you aren't clear with it. Or eventually in decent shape to play. So noticing spots where you think too much and working on those is a good way to correct leaks and step up. It helps getting them in the last stage of learning where they become automatic and don't use as much brain energy anymore, allowing space for more advanced stuffs to come.
That's why you can't learn too many new stuffs if you keep too many leaks, your inchworm (cf Tendler's model) is too wide and your brain needs too much energy to play so you can't sustain a whole session and crumble fast.

I didn't say you could cbet range here. Well probably you could. But if I'd think about checking back combos I wouldn't start with this one.
Don't take the habit of autobetting without thinking indeed it's a fatal disease for too many players. The best habit to take is to try to always think about your whole range when you're playing. It's hard. But worth it.

But you have a thing called time bank. I can't do it under pressure in 30s ♦

Then begin by training outside the tables. It's an important habit to form in your thinking process. It's hard and confusing at first but it should really shape your poker mindset in game and become the more automatic possible to see you make tremendous progress.
Pretty much any player better than me that railed me told me I was playing way too fast (and certainly not like a genius nevertheless lol) and not thinking enough. Pretty much any player better than me that I railed took surprising time thinking in some spots I was findind quite simple.
And I rarely saw them expire their timebank though. It happened but not often. And of course it happened in really tricky spots...
There might be a lesson to be taken here. But I didn't really learn it yet.
