[Closed] Things you wish you had known/realized when you started your poker carreer

That all i needed was to use a decent bankroll management to crush s&g's with such a wicked winrate.

Everything I know now. I learn something new each day

I wish I already were a pro before I started, but that's not how it is. I think I'm lucky that I've had a good education so far and that I enjoy and am able to 'fiddle things out'. For the rest: PokerStrategy is teaching me all I need to know to become a successful poker player.

Party poker doesnt get anywhere near enuff traffic compared to stars

I apreciate I didn't have a week as bad as last one when I started , I would have gone on life tilt

I wish I knew there were miniscreen tabs available.
I wish I knew there were strategy sections in ps.com.
I wish I knew I could be earning very well and started believing in me earlier.
I wish I knew my former net connection would continue to crack all the time.
I wish I knew ppl from the community earlier.
I wish I started analysing my game earlier.

I wish I could be less lazy

I also wish I had started playing a few years earlier, its like winning the lottery then realising you are reading last weeks ticket.

How small your edge in poker really is and how many (mistake free) hands you have to play in order for that to show consistant profit.
