1. Turn on auto rebuy
2. Raise bigger vs limp, like 5BB
3. Limp/3bet line is 90% AA, and then some KK or bluffs. Whatever it is, these players think they can’t loose with that hand so just call for set value, and stack him. If you miss, just fold

Thanks Oly. Some questions just for understanding. Can you kindly answer them:

1. Turn on auto rebuy

Why it is good to have auto rebuy? I am being suggested by doing that, but when I do that, I think that I am constantly losing money and rebuying. Not sure where this mindset comes from, maybe it is because that I do not have so much bankroll in my account.

2. Raise bigger vs limp, like 5BB

I understand what you say. But in microstakes, even a simple 3bb will mostly ends in folds all around. so once I have a big hands in these microstakes, are you still suggesting to to a bigger raise and kill my chance to make the pot bigger?

3. Limp/3bet line is 90% AA, and then some KK or bluffs. Whatever it is, these players think they can’t loose with that hand so just call for set value, and stack him. If you miss, just fold

Can you elaborate a little bit? I am new to so many terms of poker including those are bolds. I am struggling to understand what you are indicating. :(

We were all new to poker once ;-)
1. On most tables you’re allowed to play with 100BB max, that’s why most of preflop and postflop strategies are designed to work best with that amount of BBs. If you have significantly less or more you should play significantly different. Now if you follow some strategy than you’ll probably play better than most of other players, and to maximize your winings you should allways have as much money on table as you can, and auto rebuy is doing that for you. Now, I understand your problems, but you should know that if you are not winning player you will lose your bankroll with or without auto rebuy, and if you are you will win more with auto rebuy.
2. Main part of your winnings come from stealing blinds. If everyone would fold every time I raise I would be rich man by now. And you’re actually making a pot bigger if you raise bigger. Your goal is not to make big pot by inviting more opponents because your chances for winning are much less then. If you have a strong hand you want to play big pot against one opponent.
3. Line - move, thing he does;
Call for set value - where to start? If you have one Q in your hand and flop comes QQ7 then we say you have trips. If you have QQ in your hand and board comes Q94 then you have set. So it means to call his raise only with intention to hit your third Q on flop, and give up your hand if you don’t hit it. It will happen rarely, so you should read more about when this is profitable in theory section.
Stack him - means win his whole stack (thats why you should have full stack, to be able to win as much of his stack as you can).

Hope it helps ;-)

I'd just add :

1-You need to have a good bankroll management to play safely. If you have not, playing without auto-rebuy won't save you anyway. So just put it on and play well !

2-You don't kill your chances to make the pot bigger, on the contrary. Either you win an uncontested pot (that's always good because it's one you win 100% of the time), either you make villain play for a bigger pot with a worse chance to earn it. Win-win for you. It's a game where you want to let people make mistakes so you have to set them up for it. If you don't bet they can't make bad calls.

Yea iso-raise bigger. Since we are IP I would actually just go to 4bb. Max 5bb. I think 6bb is already quite large and unnecessary.

When villain limp 3bets he is often super strong. Then after he 5bet shoves I would comfortably say it is very very often KK+,AKs.

I like to have stronger range so I usually go with 5BB. If I see that he folds to Cbet than I go with looser range and 4bb, if he is a station then I stick to 5BB. 6bb is too much for sure, you should be very tight then.

Well the auto top buy-in tot max is needed to win max when you hit better hands.
In low limits most of the times you know when you do have the best hand or not.
By buy-in lower sometimes you have to call even when you know you beat because you already invested too much, lol.
You can also bet/fold more against fishy players.

Everyone has said it.
Play with a full stack. If you have an edge over your opponents, the bigger the stack the more you can win. Pay attention to BRM. If you can't afford a stake, playing it is half road to disgrace.
Now they won't let me buy for 200bb, but there was a time when I could do it and it was the best thing ever. Basically, you double your profit (or lose twice as much ).
Secondly, raise the limp bigger.

From my experience, limp/3bet is always a monster hand, namely KK, AA. They think they get raised all the time and decide to "exploit" you by limp/3betting. Just exploit them by folding. You won't regret it, that's an entire buy-in you're saving (in this case 95bb).

According to my analysis, these limp-3bet lines were QQ+,AK about half of the time. The other half is mostly filled with JJ,TT and other good AX hands, but there is still a small weight on lower pocket pairs and some random crap hands like KTo.

So yea when villain limps and 3bets, we can assume to see a very strong range. But because the range is not always just KK+, I think we probably still shouldn't fold QQ vs a 3bet.

Can you explain a little bit about it? Limp/3bet?

Villain limps, we raise and he 3bets (re-raises).

Feedback:

Just played a session with auto-rebuy enabled in 2€ NL. I felt much more relaxed, although the stake is already so low and I am not worried about losing money at this stage! The fact is, the sessions where I played with no Auto-Rebuy, made me always be worried when I looked at my chip stack. And also there had to be a possibility of ppl bullying me out of the pot which as a result these two, there is a possibility that I could be forced to go on a semi-tilt. But now I feel better!

Thanks La55i, zetozinho,pokerboy198229,Oly0909,MyFloXyBabY and others for your suggestion. :)
