You're almost always beat OTR. This is a nitty player with PFR 11. What do you think is his UTG range? He'll fold anything that misses this flop like 66 for example and will lead or c/r strong hand like JJ. He will not turn a made hand like AQ into a bluff OTR, he cannot have a pure bluff either, so he has you beat about 100% of the time.

Yeah 18-11-3 should never bluff so could be an exploitative fold OTR but who knows, sometime they play weird, even them can attack weakness or value too thin so calling can't be disastrous.

That’s why I think bet/fold turn and check back river would be much better, but I’m not sure about it.

.

but what about AQ, AJ, AT, KQ, KJ, KT, QJ, JT, especialy combos with one diamond? There’s plenty of worse hands that can X/C.

Sorry, I still think betting 1/2 pot on turn is better. I would really like to hear more arguments against it ;-)

Truth is, in game I'd probably check back that turn by reflex like a pussy but if I pause and think about it indeed betting seems to have more merits. Especially after having pot the flop, that changes the spot and the ranges somewhat.

checking turn and folding river is standaard in this spot, imo. Unless you know something about the villain.
