JJ - Could i get away from a set?

I dont think you could fold a set on the river giving the price you are getting roughly about 3-1. Personally I think these hands play themselves yes you are beat sometimes but in general you will see players showing up with random one and two pair hands here especially at NL2. I would also note that BB only called the river bet when he was closing the action instead of putting a value raise in with the second nutz...

You could have 3bet pre to avoid this multiway conundrum as it's NL2 and all, but yeah usually JJ isn't the best 3bet against a solid UTG opener.

As played hard to fold. That's poker etc.

I like it has played. Your hand is very strong, can't fold that river getting that price.
Turn I'm looking at that and I just want to raise the donks, but calling here is often better imo. UTG range is strong, you could put yourself into a difficult spot, folding out worse hands and isolating against straights and QQ. Besides, it is 3 way and you are a bit deep.
That K9'o hitting straights and calling that turn/river is the best part.

3b preflop. Fold otf, your hand has near to low chance of improving. Raise ott, charge the draws. Raise otr, value from 2p and worse sets.

I think is a very difficult fold this hand. Well played would can be worse if you didn't played passivelly.

4way this is a fold OTF.

Seems like a easy 3bet pre-flop and if he would 4bet you had an easy fold and the flop call is indeed a little bit optimistic 4 way with 1 clean out for a set. Sometimes you would walk in to a straight as well if you hit it and than you couldlose your entire stack.

I prefer 3bet pre flop too this is 6max, maybe full ring just call mp. Flop mwp and we have not any clubs so i think i fold the flop. What do you think QQ post flop play? I guess UTG should had to raise about 0.15 the flop and almost pot bet the turn. I guess this hand utg very-very bad play and utg give a good chance to call BB only gutshout and one over card.

Regarding the preflop play... can't 3bet this nor call everytime. It is a clear mixed strategy. Obviously more 3bets vs loose opens, calling more vs tighter opens. At NL2, you can definitely 3bet more because players don't adapt and you avoid the classical "family" pots like this one.

Come'on, fold to a less than 1/3 flop bet with position against the agressor I think it is a big mistake tbh, despite whoever is the UTG, could be a top player. We have 2nd pair, BTN won't raise enough to put pressure etc. Just call and re-evaluate. When you get raised here you fold tranquillo.

3bet PF and make your life easier. With the call you are vulnerable to sqeeze, to family pots and even if you end in HU pot with UTG you'll know nothing about his hand and there wont be many comfortable flops for you. Once you end up in a family pot your hand turns to set miner, so you don't hit a set OTF - you fold. And this flop is realy bad for your hand. Even if you have the best hand OTF you have huge reversed odds, and no clean outs.
Ah, and UTG bets this board. Just think about standard UTG range and what he might have. He wont do that with 88 for example. He has at least top pair, or at best some kind of combo draw like AK of clubs. Your hand is worth just about nothing.
