What else is there to say? Maybe something along the lines of "Well played, Prim! That's exactly how you were supposed to play in this spot. Keep up the good job!"
I'm sure you've heard about the vices of results-oriented thinking by now, but that's basically what you're describing. Keeping track of results can be important, for example when it comes to deciding what limits to play with your bankroll, but other than that, I believe you should aim to get your satisfaction from making good plays, not from winning hands or money.
I know you come from a sports background, so it should be easy for you think of examples in that context, where you can do well, but still not achieve the results you wanted. And yet coaches and teammates would have every reason to pat you on the back for your effort.
For example, I used to do shooting for a while. Instructors wouldn't primarily care about how well you hit your target, but about how well you execute your shots. Anyone could hit a bullseye by a complete fluke one time. I remember getting one on my first ever shot, but that didn't mean that my instructor could put his feet up and let me do my stuff - because he knew that I had a lot to learn if I was to shoot with any kind of consistency. And sure enough, my next few shots weren't that hot.
Basketball is another example where you can pick good and bad spots for your shots. Not all of the good shots go in, and not all of the bad shots miss. And yet there is a standard to evaluate your decisions, regardless of their result.
Maybe that's something you could aim to focus on for your next few sessions. Like I said, I'm sure it's not new to you, but it's something that takes some time to truly internalize, to the point that it becomes "unconscious competence", as it is called.
And yes, this can be tough when you get those sessions where you just can't get decent cards, and no good spots to bluff either. Still, a good fold is better than a stupid shove.
