I've been having trouble getting consistent at NL2 and I've been playing for about 2 weeks. i'm on the free trial of Poker Tracker 4 and that's helped a bit.
The hands that im leaking the most money with is suited weak Aces like Ac4c for example. Im utilising a TAG strategy overall. Any idea how to make my win rate more consistent?

many microstakes players only focus on their cards. very easy to exploit them using position. I also notice with microstakes a lot of players only 3-bet preflop with pocket pairs, and only 3-bet the flop, turn, or river with the nuts. with that being said when you 3-bet preflop your opponents will only play back at you with pocket pairs or hands such as AK through A10. Ace anything if its suited. 3-bet the flop, and turn your opponents will only call with the nuts.
what im saying is use position and occasional 3-bets bluffs.
To start out, learn your ranges.
Learn what hands to open, from what position, ect.
Don't get fancy, DO NOT overthink spots, DO NOT get creative. Bad play happens here often, you can catch a free ride on their badness without doing fancy plays.
Learn the basics, stick to them, be consistent.
Best advice is to play tight agressive. In micro stakes you get more value on your made hands. You get a lot more showdown action - the trick is to have the best hand.

You're talking about leaks, which means that you are shooting for a GTO strategy whether you realize or not. If you are trying to use a GTO strategy in those games you will make very little money. You need to use an exploitative strategy instead.
In the micro-stakes games this is very easy to do, as the players are extremely easy to read.
- If they bet big, or raise, they have a very strong hand.
- If they dont have anything, they fold to a flop half pot bet everytime.
Sometimes the player wont follow these rules, but most of them do, and this is enough information to destroy the micro-stakes games. Bet every flop, give up on the turn. Fold anytime they raise unless you have the nuts. Easy money.
With something like A4s, you bet the flop, if they call, you check the turn unless you have a flush or trip 4. Playing the micros is stupidly easy, dont overcomplicated it.

Booray was saying that you usually just need to play for value in the micros, and this is true. You only want to make cheap bluffs in these games. Usually, all you need to do is try and stay ahead of the villains range.
Making cheap bluffs does mean a lot of stealing, and a lot of Cbetting, and so tight as standard is good, but, dont forget to steal everytime if they only play 13% of hands.
