QJs flop

I would 3bet pré.the villain seems a LAG and playing BTN he gets even more loose.
Why the donk bet? Since u just called pre i would probably x/r OTF.

Im also curious to read other opinions.

Here comes my 2 cents: In this kind of spots im inclined to either push or fold. Im assuming he has already a good hand, maybe he played some suited connectors that made 2 pairs or a FD, a pair that have hit a set, also an over pair is plausible.

Só, maybe a fold, because if we r depending only on the FD we have less than 37% chances. if we can use a Q we go up to 49% and its a coin flip... and usually im a bit adverse to variance.

PS since only have 30 hands checking the hud for post flop action is most probably useless.

What is the main reason your are betting here?

Will you have 2 or 3 streets of value? In a MW spot with top pair medium kicker it is a very marginal spot.

Does your hand need protection? Not really, you have the FD and many backdoor straight draws.

The problem with betting here is that you are building a big pot with a mid strength hand and huge reversed implied odds.

It is an easy check/call I think. In case you would not have the FD it is better to bet here, and fold againts a raise.

Preflop it is ok to flat from the BB. KJs for instance would be a better hand to squeeze vs UTG/BTN.
Check/call flop. Donking makes no sense at all with this hand.
As played, donking and folding to a raise is fishy stuff.

I think I would use exploitative line than the 'correct' line, here. However, I'm a micro-fish myself.

PF calling is O.K. If 3-bet and one of the opponents 4-bets, we should fold this nice-looking nut-potential hand.

We flopped good, but not the 'perfect' one. I would donk-bet here and shout loudly that I got something here. Why? Make it simple.

If both folds , they got nothing, and if hero checks, they might check back, and might improve on turn. Just take down this small pot and go to the next hand.

If anyone raises, just fold. Hero donks in a 3-way pot, and opp is raising with a better made hand or better draw. And we are OOP in the following streets. Fold here and do not give opp the opportunity to build the pot. If we got flush or jack paired on turn, than we could lose the whole stack, however, hard to induce opp to call our big bets or raises.

If one or both calls, we could x/c turn, and re-assess on river, make the pot smaller.

In this kind of OOP with weak top-pair situation, assume we donk-bet 2/3 pot 100% of the time, and get folds 40% of the time, it's quite profitable, and that' what often happens in NL2 tables.
