So, here we are again: at home. Arrived a couple of hours ago. Vacation was awesome but it´s nice to be back home again. 
Work and grind restart next week.

I wish I had a "welcome back" cartoon ready, but I was kinda busy myself these last two weeks.

So then, let´s tell a bit about my vacation - or in other words: tennis-bootcamp! Homer and I took some great tennis-coaching, the coach has known us for more than 10 years. But anyway: He let me do slices (a technique to give the ball a backwards-spin) and volleys!!! 
Oh dear, volleys are really not my strongest point. :f_cry::facepalm::rage: But even worse were the backhand-slices. I just do them in the case of emergency to get the ball somehow and somehow play it back while taking out speed by giving it a backward-spin. But here the trouble starts: I´m a double-handed backhand-player!! I didn´t have to do the slice in emergency but - how cruel ! - had to do it as offensive play!! As mentioned: I only slice for defense!! 
My offensive play is topspin (a technique to give the ball a forward-spin)!!
So here I stood on the tennis court: desperate and totally lost. An offensive slice! Kiss my bum bum!
Do I have to mention that I sucked? :f_ugly::f_ugly::rage::rage::facepalm::facepalm:
Fortunately we did a lot of other things. I have now three service-variants: str8 and powerful, slice and kick (topspin).
My strong points are service, return and baseline-play! That´s why I´m WAY better at singles than at doubles. 
So, what else? We made very nice bike tours - pedalling against the wind The landscape is really awesome in Northern Germany!
Well yeah, and the sauna-discussion we already had. Yesterday we took our last sauna-sessions of our vacation and surprisingly, the sauna was super-hot! I don´t know why but it was way hotter than usual, so the steam was supermega-hot too! The first round was called "fire and ice" - okay, of course it´s hot when the motto is "fire and ice". The steam had lemon-grass-flavour which was okay. But the next round was awesome! Steam with almond-flavour and salt-peeling. Oh boy, now I have to wait a bit for the next opportunity to go to the sauna cause it´s warm here at home. It´s summer, so here in Southern Germany it used to be warm and/or hot. Got tennis and sauna combined when I play tennis at warm or hot temperatures 
Looking forward for September. I love mild temperatures.

First you kick 'em, then you slice 'em, then a str8 and powerful strike to finish them off. Sounds like "hyper-aggressive power tennis" to me.
And like I said, I've never been to a sauna before, but you make them sound quite interesting...

Killing pests again! My lemon-tree has lice again - I could go nuts! So again:
Further, I repotted the lemon tree and changed its place, where I think it gets even more sunlight. There seems to be a heat wave coming next weekend... So, a great opportunity for the lemon tree to grow again. The other one already started growing and flourishing during the last heat wave.
My tomatoes are growing like crazy and soon we can harvest the first tomatoes, the upcoming heat wave should even accelerate the ripening of the tomatoes and the growth of the tomatoe plants. The basil will also be happy about the heat wave, the oregano too! Same goes for the peperoni which was growing slowly so far, no idea why? ♠_o:
Here we go again!
So, special grind starts again and I played three little session of about 30-40 minutes. Took a break after every set of SnGs. Played mainly on Titan, my usual limits, no reason to played totally scared 50 cent- SnGs. Played mainly 6-max SnGs which are always big fun on Titan (full of fishes, thus, lower in variance). You can guess now how I played: patiently and tighter as usual. At the beginning of my session I ran pretty bad - ended up break-evenish. The first set didn´t go that well. Took a break and started the second set: PLO10 and PLO4 (will tell about that in the other blog). Alright, after some PLO, again a little break. Third set: Mainly DONs but also some 6-max SnGs. Finally I started running a bit better and won most of the DONs (1-5€), could win a 5€ 6-max, won a 1€ 9max, and took some second places more 1,2 and 5 € 6max-SnGs.
I am happy with my play today. I am proud that I kept playing patiently. I didn´t go aggro-LAG, but kept waiting for good hands and playing them strong! Played about 6-7 tables at once, so less tables than usual. Focussed on quality.
At the end, without PLO, I could take a nice winning. With PLO I ended up break-evenish.

I don´t play long hours. I decided to play more but small sessions of about 1-2 hours. Today I played about 2 hours.

SnG-fun!
So, migraine is gone and after work I hit the tables! Played 9max and 6max SnGs on 888 and Titan, mostly 5€/5$, some 3$ on 888 and two 2€ on Titan. Could win a 5$ 9max on 888 and take some 2nd places. On Titan I won a 5€ 6max and took a 2nd place. One of the 2€ 6max was a DON and could win that too, even though I got supershortie by jamming A8 into AQ blind vs blind but could get up my bum bum and with a little luck I could win my stack back and make it ITM. Played also a 5€ DON where I bluffed with two blockers but ran into a set 444. Altogether more hands held, got some good hands, and there were also some coolers (jammed with trips 222 into other trips with better kicker, 52o vs A2o), but I also got my 3-outers: jammed QJ into AJ but won with a lucky str8. Got two times AA and in both times it held.
Forgot to watch the clock and while playing I lost concentration and made some mistakes post-flop. Forgot to take my break.
Altogether was a nice and fun session with a little winning. ♠_love:
