Yes it can be done! Just go to New Jersey or in a few weeks to Pennsylvania!

Enjoy playing on Poker Stars!

Hey mathkid,

I wouldn't recommend trying. TABLECAPTAINN, a well known Twitch streamer recently relocated from NC to NJ and even though he is more than 20 miles from the border, he sometimes has problems from being flagged as out of state.

For US players outside of the regulated states, there are quite a few options with rooms on the Merge, WPN and Horizon networks etc.

Also there are around 15 states where legalising poker is being considered. These include the heavyweights, California, New York and Florida.

Regards

Laz

Lazza,

first of all I was trying to watch you Twitch but it looks like your last video was some 18 days ago.

I can play on WPN skins but Merge is not doing much anymore I don't think. Can you recommend a site for them ? Also, not sure who Horizon is. What site are they ?

WPN being America's Card Room / Black Chip Poker we can play on and Ignition Poker or Bovada which are essentially the same we can play on. I'm desperately looking for a better site. What I would give to be able to play on Poker Stars. :(

Hey mathkid,

I've had some real life crap that has prevented my streaming, but I'll be back at it in around 12 hours.

I have never had access to sites on Merge, or BetOnline or Global Poker as they all have Australian assets, so they won't take the risk.

Horizon is the new name of the much maligned Revolution, formerly WinCake, formerly Cake network. Traffic is terrible but there are massive overlays in their guaranteed MTTs. The major site (might be the only one) is Juicy Stakes.

I'm restricted really to ACR and Ignition as these have acceptable traffic, however tourney structures are generally too deep and slow.

Other sites to consider include the crypto only sites like SealWithClubs etc.

I certainly miss playing on Stars/Party/888 :f_cry:

Also, there are plenty of US based players streaming on Twitch, so you may be able to get some advice on other options from them.

Cheers :f_drink:

Laz

I would love to watch you stream soon. I pretty much agree with all you wrote. Seals with clubs is gone as they do have a side site that is no traffic. Coin based
sites sites are coinpoker and of course the ones you made mention of take coin for deposits. So , you can or can't play on Stars ?
