Questions below.

$0.02 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 4 players

Hero (CO): 163.5 BB
BTN: 111 BB (VPIP: 20.27, PFR: 6.87, 3Bet Preflop: 0.98, Hands: 295)
SB: 151 BB (VPIP: 100.00, PFR: 40.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)
BB: 43.5 BB (VPIP: 52.31, PFR: 5.64, 3Bet Preflop: 1.20, Hands: 195)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8♥ T♠ J♣ A♣

Hero raises to 3.5 BB, fold, fold, BB calls 2.5 BB
Thoughts and questions:

Spoiler

I guess the only thing I could truly exclude from villain s range, after his call, is AAds or maybe AAss

Flop: (7.5 BB, 2 players) 7♥ K♦ 4♥
BB checks, Hero bets 5 BB, BB calls 5 BB
Thoughts and questions:

Spoiler

I didn t hit anything on this board, but villain has a fold to cbet flop of 50 and fold to cbet turn of 50 as well and I m not going to win this without betting.
Should I cbet bigger here?
After he calls, I m putting him in a bottom set 44 or not so great 2 pair (K4 or 74), an oesd with 56 + something or XhYh. There is a small chance of him having AhA.
I think he would ve raised AhXh or any K7+ OTF

Turn: (17.5 BB, 2 players) 2♦
BB checks, Hero bets 11.5 BB, BB calls 11.5 BB
Thoughts and questions:

Spoiler

Turn is mostly a blank. Should I cbet here?
I can t see a scenario where I check here OTT and bet the river and villain folds. So, if I check here, I ll probably check/fold OTR.
Villain won t fold any of his made hands. So if I cbet, I m trying to make his draws + pair to fold.

River: (40.5 BB, 2 players) 5♣
Thoughts and questions:

Spoiler

5 doesn t change much and I don t beat anything, so I think the question is bluff or not to bluff?

BB checks, Hero checks

Spoiler

BB shows 2♣ J♠ 6♠ 5♥ (Two Pair, Fives and Twos)
(Pre 36%, Flop 54%, Turn 85%)
Hero mucks 8♥ T♠ J♣ A♣ (High Card, Ace)
(Pre 64%, Flop 46%, Turn 15%)
BB wins 39 BB

Hello Daniel!

I think you have to decide on the flop and if u have any feq vs villian and rep a polarized range and bet bigger 3/4 pot flop pot turn and
river is a mandatory bet imo with Ahi.

I dontl ike the turnbet and I'd prefer bet/check/bet more.

All in all I dont like the flop cbet neither, better try to hit something later and try to showdown,
Fold to Flop 50% is not super-high and villain has loose passive tendencies, you dont have any hand value nor blocker. Against such weak players you dont have to polarize your ranges and it is better to play a straightforward strategy (bet merged ranges and go for value/protection).

It's PLO2 and 4 handed, but in most cases I would give up after the flop.
I doubt a fish will fold to often and you can only win with bluffing.

Cheers,

Check flop. BB will hit that flop quite often, and you have decent chance to get good turn card.
