Haha SvenBe, not sure if I would catch with my Spanish learnings :f_biggrin: But yeah, I want to extend trip to around 2 weeks, not many chances to visit South America :f_cool:

Everytime a couple gets married I remember my own marriage and think: Wow! I´ve been married for 13 years now, whoah! Unbelievable how fast time passes! :f_o:

Well, now GL preparing the trip to Peru. It will also be the start of the summer there, so not a bad time for travelling.
If I'd be able to travel around I'd probably chose to go to either Chile or Argentina - both offer amazing landscapes and nice barbecues :-)

13 years is a lot, congrats on keeping the track :f_love:

Indeed, there are not many places where it will be colder than in Lithuania at that time :f_biggrin:

Weekly Update

Last week tried 2 MTTs sessions but couldn't get anywhere deep. However, Spins saved the week once again :f_biggrin: Not a big sample, but it was enough to show some overall profits :f_thumbsup:

Yet again, it is time for a Monthly review :f_thumbsup: Only 3 months left until the end, so let's take a look how far I am from completing the goals.

1. Make 8 poker trips
January - MPN Tallinn, Estonia
February - Kings of Tallinn, Estonia

April - MPN Prague, Czech Republic - 17th for 1900€
June - EPT Madrid National, Spain
July - MPN London, 440€
September - European Championship for Lithuanian squad in Ukraine, ticket to World Cup in Peru
October - Battle of Malta
December - World Cup, Peru

You already know that my Nation had a successful time in European Championship :f_thumbsup: Although we took 7th place, but it was just enough to qualify for World Cup in Peru. It starts in 2 months, so there is enough time to prepare for it both in poker aspects and to do some homework for sightseeing :f_grin: Also, there is at least one more poker festival in Malta until that long trip, which would make my goal complete. So far 6/8 done, but the future looks bright :f_cool:

2. Get some profit over 10k games at 100$ Spin&Go's
The future doesn't look bright on this, however :f_biggrin: Although I'm very happy with Net winnings, but the number of games is too low. And probably not enough time to catch the routine :f_ugly:

3. Everlasting study of poker - 360 hours
January - 12 hours
February - 12 hours
March, April, May - 0

June - 15 hours
July - 40 hours
August - 19 hours
September - 26 hours

Total: 124 hours

After 41 weeks, I only have 124 hours. And one more month there I couldn't meet the standards. Guilty :f_cry:

4. Update trophy room
I had some hopes for MPN tournament series and I really wanted to play as many tournaments as possible. But the awkward leaderboard rules made it very annoying to play so I only participated in the major ones. Unfortunately, no success as last year and my trophy room is still empty for this year. But Battle of Malta is running in 2 weeks.. Maybe there :f_eek:

5. Enjoy the life and treat myself with big activity every month
Still living a dream and this year without any doubts are very enjoyable :f_love: Here are some pics of my last trip in Ukraine, Kiev.

6. Learn new profession and get a part-time job
I did learn a new profession, I did get a part-time job but only for a half year. Still it was a very nice experience, but for the cost of poker. It also gave back passion for poker, so I can only be grateful for that :f_thumbsup:

7. Hold a healthy body through proper nutrition and run a Marathon
I won't be shy by saying that I'm probably in best shape in my life :f_smile: Going to gym regularly helps a lot not only for the looks but for football as well :f_thumbsup: At this moment I'm 3rd in the team by scored goals (all from corners :f_biggrin:), but still not bad for a defender :f_cool: And as for marathons, I hope to find something once my football season is over :f_ugly:

8. To maintain strong relationship with others
Difficult to calculate this, but I think my social life is also on a high note. This time a photo comes from a bowling session with my University group mates :f_drink: Need I to say, who won the last round? :f_biggrin:

9. Get promoted with Top Kickers
This one was already fulfilled as we got invitation to a higher division just before the season. But we are showing that even there we can earn points and be one of the favorites! With 3 games to go, we are still sitting in 3rd position with a small chance to climb to the Top. For sure, it is going to be a thrilling end of the season!

10. Read 19 books
1. Haruki Murakami - 1Q84 1st book
2. Haruki Murakami - 1Q84 2nd book
3. Haruki Murakami - 1Q84 3rd book
4. Faust by Goethe
5. Drugs in the Third Reich: Norman Ohler
6. Start Something That Matters: Blake Mycoskie
7. The Lady of the Camellias by Alexandre Dumas
8. Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari
9. The Road Back by Erich Maria Remarque
10. Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

11. Robin Sharma "Leadership Wisdom"

Once again I go back to Robin's Sharma books as I find it very motivational :f_thumbsup: it is my 11th book of the year, so finally I got over the half of it! Possible I will have to do lots of reading in the last days :f_tongue:

So these are my results with just 3 months to go! Some of the tasks are going well, some not so, but in overall I'm very happy with my life in general. Hopefully my thoughts will remain the same in the next review!

Weekly Update

As every week, let's start with my Spins results :f_thumbsup:

Average volume, perfect ChipEV, nice profits :f_cool: No big multipliers, only one 5x, so mostly had to compete in 2x and 3x. But sometimes it is even better as most players don't respect those "cheap" prizes. And we all know that the most money come exactly from there :f_ugly:

As for tournaments, I had one online session (very small profit, around 20€), and one live local tournament which ended quite early. Lost 2 key hands, AK<99 pre and AQ<KT pre. No harsh feelings as I hope my luck will visit me once more in Battle of Malta which stands this week :f_wink: Last year it was a gamechanger in my poker career, maybe something fun happens this year as well _wink:

Weekly update
Or let's say, my Battle of Malta festival update :f_biggrin: This year Main Event didn't go too well - reached the money, but it all ended in day 2. However, some good results in side events :f_thumbsup: I played 5 tournaments in total, cashed in 4, made 2 Final tables and was so close to the trophy :f_zZz: But in general, I was very happy with my play, so no harsh feelings :f_cool:

Hello guys, long time since my last post :f_rolleyes: Not much happened in that time, but some nice trips are scheduled for this week and the one after. More on that, in my first goal review :f_cool:

1. Make 8 poker trips
January - MPN Tallinn, Estonia
February - Kings of Tallinn, Estonia

April - MPN Prague, Czech Republic - 17th for 1900€
June - EPT Madrid National, Spain
July - MPN London, 440€
September - European Championship for Lithuanian squad in Ukraine, ticket to World Cup in Peru
October - Battle of Malta, 7240€

November - Unibet open Paris
December - World Cup, Peru

So the end of the year is very active as I still have two big events - Unibet open Paris and World Cup in Peru. The first problem is that Unibet's last day is the same as first day on WC, so if I reach Final Table in France, I potentially miss the start of WC :f_ugly: The 2nd and much bigger problem is the security situation in South America. Most of the neighbour countries have some issues with political riots (Chille, Colombia, Bolivia) and there is a big chance that WC will be cancelled. Will have to follow situation closely in coming days :f_eek:

2. Get some profit over 10k games at 100$ Spin&Go's
Although I am happy with my results - profits and ChipEV - but the volume is on a very low note. Most Regs reach this number of games in 1 or 2 months :f_p:

3. Everlasting study of poker - 360 hours
January - 12 hours
February - 12 hours
March, April, May - 0

June - 15 hours
July - 40 hours
August - 19 hours
September - 26 hours
October - 21 hours

Another mediocre month of studying and that sums up 145 hours after 45 weeks. Looks like this goal will be half done only :f_rolleyes:

4. Update trophy room
Damn I was so close on this in Malta :f_confused: In that poker festival I reached two final tables in side events, and even got into HU in the very last one. Killing hand - very standard. Opponent jammed for around 12BB with AJ and I found a call with KQ. No help on the board and that means I'm still trophyless in 2019 :f_zZz:

5. Enjoy the life and treat myself with big activity every month
Although I was very active at the poker tables in Malta, I still found time to visit new (and some old) places there. For me it was like 10th time in Malta, but for my parents it was a new territory. Of course I couldn't miss a National Malta Aquarium to take a photo with my best animal friends - fishes _biggrin: Also, finally I decided to visit Popey village where the famous movie was filmed.

6. Learn new profession and get a part-time job
Profession learned, job taken and given away :f_ugly: I guess that means 3/4 of the goal achieved :f_cool:

7. Hold a healthy body through proper nutrition and run a Marathon
I'm very happy with my body shapes and finally I don't look like a 18 years boy anymore :f_biggrin: Scales show 88 kg, but that comes not from fat! However, I couldn't find time for a Marathon and that probably transfers to the next year :f_mad:

8. To maintain strong relationship with others
Also very satisfied with the level of social activities. Although I was meeting up with my closest friends regularly, now we have one more reason for that - Hears. A card game played by 4 persons, but nothing similar to poker :f_grin: I remember playing that on PC, so I thought to give it a chance in a Live game. And seems like we hooked up for that! P.S. In this game Royal Flush is much more possible :f_biggrin:

9. Get promoted with Top Kickers

The season officially ended and the mood is ambiguous :f_rolleyes: Although 4th place is Ok result for a newly promoted team, but it is a little painful to miss bronze award, especially by the 2 points margin. Most of the season we were in competition even for the 1st place, but the defeat in the last game took it all away from us.

10. Read 19 books
1. Haruki Murakami - 1Q84 1st book
2. Haruki Murakami - 1Q84 2nd book
3. Haruki Murakami - 1Q84 3rd book
4. Faust by Goethe
5. Drugs in the Third Reich: Norman Ohler
6. Start Something That Matters: Blake Mycoskie
7. The Lady of the Camellias by Alexandre Dumas
8. Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari
9. The Road Back by Erich Maria Remarque
10. Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
11. Robin Sharma "Leadership Wisdom"
12. Suzan Pawelski "Happy together"

13. Erich Maria Remarque - The Black Obelisk

My wife often calls me a "tree" because poker taught me not to show emotions :f_ugly: So I have to fix it and maybe "happy together" book is the cure :f_p: And now I'm reading the very contrary book - The Black Obelisk, A classic book about the World War period. It always reminds me how lucky we are to live in such a modern world nowadays!

This concludes my monthly review, and next time I hope to get some insight after my Peru trip! Take care and good luck :f_thumbsup:

It was a nice ride, but eventually it ended in 11th place 🤷‍♂️ on the other side, I can easily now travel to Peru without a headache 😅

Indeed! I could think about folding, but not against that particular opponent 🤔 if he is jamming TT, I guess he is doing that with AQ or even AJ KQ. And his speach after jamming screamed to me like "please don't call" 😅

What's up guys :f_thumbsup: Just went back home from Peru, one of my favorite trips in life :f_love: Unfortunately Nations World Cup was re-scheduled for later dates, but I can't moan too much as it meant more time to explore South America :f_cool: So, everything from the start..

1. Make 8 poker trips
January - MPN Tallinn, Estonia
February - Kings of Tallinn, Estonia

April - MPN Prague, Czech Republic - 17th for 1900€
June - EPT Madrid National, Spain
July - MPN London, 440€
September - European Championship for Lithuanian squad in Ukraine, ticket to World Cup in Peru
October - Battle of Malta, 7240€
November - Unibet open Paris, 11th 7740€

So my last trip to Paris was the one that completed the task, and also it was the most profitable this year :f_thumbsup: Around 17k in Live profits for 2019 is decent, although not as big as last year. I am already thinking about 2020 goals, and probably I can push this goal to 10 trips with some certain stops as Battle of Malta. But let's leave it for next post and just tick this one as complete :f_grin:

2. Get some profit over 10k games at 100$ Spin&Go's

Haven't played a single hand online in a month, so no progress here :f_eek: Although volume is very low this year, but at least I can be happy with Net winnings itself :f_drink:

3. Everlasting study of poker - 360 hours
January - 12 hours
February - 12 hours
March, April, May - 0

June - 15 hours
July - 40 hours
August - 19 hours
September - 26 hours
October - 21 hours

November - 8 hours

50 weeks passed and only 153 hours of studying :f_rolleyes: With couple of weeks left, it is clear that this goal will be only half set, so I will have to make it better next year.

4. Update trophy room
Paris was close.. With 11 players left I made a huge call preflop with AK in a 4bet pot. Against any other opponent I could find a fold, but not against a crazy youngster :f_biggrin: In case of winning that hand, I would be a massive chipleader with 20% chips in play, but this time flip didn't work. And that leaves me with no trophies this year :f_ugly:

5. Enjoy the life and treat myself with big activity every month
Well, I can't be more happier with my life, to be honest :f_drink: The last trip to Peru was like a cherry on the cake! Original plan was to participate in PokerNationsCup for one week, and then travel around Peru for one week extra. But as tournament was cancelled, we had more time for fun :f_tongue: There was 8 Lithuanian people in a group, so we had even more fun, and I guess it adds a little more safety as well. Starting the voyage from the Capital Lima, we took a popular Hop route until the Machu Picchu, taking a day or 2 in most popular attractive cities. Here are some pictures from deserts, Nasca lines, Colca Canyon and of course Machu Picchu itself :f_cool:

6. Learn new profession and get a part-time job
3/4 task fulfilled as profession was learnt and part-time job taken. But only for half a year as it took away too much time :f_eek:

7. Hold a healthy body through proper nutrition and run a Marathon
I'm happy with my efforts in the gym but maybe I could do a little more in the kitchen :f_biggrin: Food in Peru was great and for sure I would like to take some recipes into my personal diary. I am a big lover of avocados and those in Peru were absolutely fantastic! Sea food also exceptionally good , with chicken and alpacas more popular deeper from the sea.

8. To maintain strong relationship with others
Happy with this task. And hopefully people around me are happy as well! One picture from the bottom, one from the top :f_love:

9. Get promoted with Top Kickers

We got promoted even before the season so it made this task a little easier :f_biggrin: And we finished 4th this season, which is a good result. And how it was for me personally? Inclusion in League's Dream Team is not so bad :f_drink:

10. Read 19 books
1. Haruki Murakami - 1Q84 1st book
2. Haruki Murakami - 1Q84 2nd book
3. Haruki Murakami - 1Q84 3rd book
4. Faust by Goethe
5. Drugs in the Third Reich: Norman Ohler
6. Start Something That Matters: Blake Mycoskie
7. The Lady of the Camellias by Alexandre Dumas
8. Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari
9. The Road Back by Erich Maria Remarque
10. Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
11. Robin Sharma "Leadership Wisdom"
12. Suzan Pawelski "Happy together"
13. Erich Maria Remarque - The Black Obelisk
14. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by F. Scott Fitzgerald

Ok, so maybe 19 books was a little optimistic :f_biggrin: But I'm still happy with my time spent on reading as some of them were really flat, with more than 1000 pages. But when you enjoy stories, you simply don't count them :f_cool:
