Hi

No I don't think we can call. He likely hit a set. I'd put him on 44 for the limp call pre-flop. I think he knows an ace won't likely fold and hands like yours have a tough time folding to him so he shoves.
I don't see him bluffing there as it's such a risky bluff with that shove.

Happy for other thoughts as well though

thanks a l lot. i was also considering about UTG shove.

But the question is for the bet of CO on the turn. Do you think my call there was right?

Yes I think so because it's unlikely he has an ace when it comes on the the turn andbecause he checked the flop, and because he did not isolate raise the utg pre flop .

He can also be betting any other pocket pair there, a 9T type of hand, maybe a flush draw, or a bluff attempt.

Leading the turn is better in this spot I think then x/c-ing, because 1. you can get value of weaker hands which would checkback (9x, baby FDs, some pockets) 2. You price the turn bet, something ~4$ would be good I think 3. You gain information about your opponents, if they call you will most likely have the best hand, if they raise you have two outs.
