hi,

what do you use for a sizing pre? I think if I raise to 800 I am committed anyway so I shoved pre.

iPoker - 40/80 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

The shove isn't bad
I love to :
Raise to 500 maybe and jam flop

I prefer a normal 3bet more than a over shove. I would make it around 600 and shove most flops.
Than you have less than a pot size Cbet left on the flop.

Yeah 3bet to 550 or so and you can actually have some 3bet-fold range also. Depends on flop as always how to continue there. No need to have any "shove flop" plan made...

when do you want a 3ber fold range and when do you want a shove flop plan? is this only stackssize dependend

That's interesting, if we 3 bet to 500-600 and we get a call we probably have 1 pot bet left it so I don't see how to play this when flop comes except to jam

Well in general when I 3bet my plan is to almost always have 3bet-fold range also. If I won't have any I think if it's best to just shove. There are of course spots where we might just go for exploitative line and only 3bet small with monster versus some recreational player.

In 3bet and especially 4bet pots we can still have bet-fold range with shallow stacks as the value part is protecting that range. Sometimes check can also be fine option.
