AQ - how to respond to limp/re-raise

Vs calling station you can fold all range and play in set mining, as played with gutshot nuts and good implied money I call cbet

I would fold pre-flop as well against a passive villain. Limp/3bet is a sign of a monster.
Flop I would call. Only problem is that you have only 4 outs for a straight, but if you fold you shouldn't play this hand in the first place.

follow the stats Villain stats: VP 45/PF 9 (50 hands) meaning he will not raise with a monster because he is a tight passive

follow your read - I had seen villain limp/re-raise at least 3 times in 50 hands.
One time villain limp/called with KK.
limp/3-bet meaning "Ugly Devil"
( you don't want to see it again with you on the other side)

Don't follow your hand - AQ which is nice but not nice enough for al the good reasons.

Flop - you are already there might as well see one more card for 31c just in case you hit and you might stack him off with his AA or set of Kings,

I can't see how I can call OTF.
If I assume to stack villain if I hit OTT, the implied odds are ~1:6. (31 : 31 + 62 + 98)

So the chance of hitting OTT must be > 14%.

If I count with 7 outs (4 for the nuts and 3 Aces) the chances are ~15%. (7/47)

But this is a very optimistic assessment. The Aces are not clean outs. And even if we hit the nuts, we might not be able to stack villain.

I am not convinced that calling OTF is +EV.

Fold preflop for easy life. If he does that multiple times during short time, I would reraise AQ. Expecially vs BTN limp. Very read dependable. Fold pre is default.

P.s. Onetimebigtime....VP45 is tight? Since when? 😂

It is +EV for sure. You barely have the actual odds but have a lot of implied odds. In theory you should call or I believe even raise small amout of time. In reality - personaly I would not call that happily, because I know I dont want to face another barrel from villain. I would raise or fold as played, but I dont call 3bets with AQo preflop in first place so hard to say... (I do that only if I am tilted and spew ♦ ♦).

Conlusion - fold or raise preflop. As played preflop continue rather by betting OTF imho. Check OTF is ok also, but I would rather bet (as played)... if checked, you should call. OTT if some brick card comes (like 2h or so) just XF. If you improve to straight or TP you can comfortably XR...

But as I said, calling OTF is hard, cause you messed that hand preflop.

I think easy fold pre, most time on NL2 are limp-raise sign of AA-KK
