hi,

I really don't think that villain shoves close to 50% here. Moderate player ok stats I guess. HRC I think I should just call.

iPoker - 300/600 NL - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

BTN: 2,230 (3.7 bb)
SB: 2,495 (4.2 bb)
Hero (BB): 2,675 (4.5 bb)
CO: 6,100 (10.2 bb)

4 players post ante of 50, SB posts 300, Hero posts BB 600

Pre Flop: (pot: 1,100) Hero has K♥: 8♥:
2 folds, SB raises to 1,200, Hero folds

Spoiler

Results: 1,400 pot (0 rake)

SB wins 1,400

Shouldn't we shove atc here, because of bubble factor (on SB)? I am really curious, as I am not good at ICM.

Or is actually bubble why we shouldn't shove atc, because we want to preserve our stack?

I would shove over his minraise as default. Now that minraise does look bit funky move so any reads on that tendency would be nice. I would be more happy to call versus shove anyway as people on average tend to have tendency to do these type of stuff when they have monster.

FGS1 ranges would have SB shove 66.2%, 22+ Kx+ Q2s+ Q3o+ J2s+ J7o+ T3s+ T7o+ 94s+ 97o+ 84s+ 86o+ 74s+ 76o 63s+ 53s+ 43s and us call 43.2%, 22+ Ax K2s+ K3o+ Q4s+ Q7o+ J7s+ J9o+ T8s+. Breakeven point would be around 37%

It's true sometimes they tend to do these miniraises with monsters but for me K8 suited is an easy shove.

Any info on villain would be nice. Tough to expect villain will fold with around 2bb more behind. If you shove or call the BTN player will be the real winner of the hand. Calling is funky to. You haven't any playabilly post-flop.

Cheers,
