9max, AQs call in bubble

The BTN player is slightly the shortest stack and I expect the UTG villain shoves with a really wide range. That makes the AQs a easy call I think. I would call at least AT+, KQ and 55+ here.

My HRC licence might not be active anymore but I am pretty sure that ICM is too high for BU to call even if CO shove close to any2. You can check hand with free web calculator that HRC site offer.

I check the hand with HRC and for nash the range is just 88+ assuming CO is pushing 100%. It's a 0,50$ sit and go, people don't know about ICM and the big stack for sure is not pushing atc, maybe wide but non atc for sure. so the range should be even more tight lol. Im in doubt, like SDK said, BTN is slightly the shorter so you need a little gamble and AQ suited is worth, however is weird risking a flip , even if you win and double up it's not sure you will get into itm. I dont know.

In the spot i would fist pump get it in with AQs - which turns out to be a mistake.

(ran it through Pokerstrategy.com ICM trainer - it has calling range for BU: 2,7% - 99+)

Btw CO stack has enormous effect in this spot for calling ranges which is something that is very very easy to underestimate. If someone has energy try to change CO stack into 5000 and 3000 and check calling ranges. This is something that even lot of regs (even on higher stakes) don't put enough focus on imo.

I saw recently a collins video live session playing and he folded AJ in a similar spot, however it was the 4handed of a 18 man. The chipleader was shoving wide from button and collin folded AJo as a midstack from the big blind . He stated that versus a ramdom or very wide range he need a good equity that only pocket pairs 99+ Would give.
Interesting what said ghaleon, i will check that later, but yes i think with lesser chipleader stack the call should be proportionally wider .
