Preflop and flop line

The villain is 16/13/af2.0/3B:0, 32 hands

BB is 33/33/af:inf, 6 hands

Preflop, I think we could flat with 98s vs SB, and SB plus BB no 4bet, in this case we are closing action preflop but it's probably a fold?

Postflop, I think my range smashes this board so it seemed logical to shove for FE with outs.

PokerStars - $0.50 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BTN): 117.28 BB
SB: 145.52 BB
BB: 101.2 BB
UTG: 140.34 BB
MP: 442.24 BB
CO: 200.78 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8♦ 9♥

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.24 BB, SB raises to 10 BB, BB calls 9 BB, Hero calls 7.76 BB

Flop: (30 BB, 3 players) 6♥ 7♥ 8♣
SB bets 14.54 BB, fold, Hero raises to 107.28 BB and is all-in, SB calls 92.74 BB

Thoughts?

Your flat with 98o seems a bit loose. Even suited i will fold in this spot. You are pretty much dominated. BB's cold call indicate some strong holding . When you flop some sort of draw, pot will be huge and you wont be able draw cheaply.

It seems but it's not. SB is almost never bluffing in this spot. So your FE is pretty much down to zero. However i will stack off here as well. Even without much of a FE we have decent equity against most of his strong holdings

This seems sound to me. Anyone?

Pre-flop is loose to call a 3bet, but suited is fine 3 way.

On the flop I would just call the Cbet. Tough to get value or a better hand to fold I think.

I would fold preflop 98o, 98s call only when 3B will be small (max 3x). You face 4,5x 3B so it will be fold for 98s too.

SB looks like ha had big or over pair, maybe he has AKs. If he had AKh he had better FD, so he could call your over bet.

Folding off suit combos and calling suited combos we have position and a very playable hand postflop mw.
