PLO50 AJ99ss flop x-c or x-r?

Instead of looking at this specific hand I would think about what is our check/call or check/raise range on this flop with 50BB. Disclaimer: I don’t play 4c Omaha 😄

But I would think that our raising range should accomplish to GII vs worse hands and fold out better hands. The problem with our hand is that we don’t Block 2 pair/sets and block our opponent from having AA which along with kkxx I would like him to Cbet/fold. Also I think you have low FE given his bet size so I think a call is better than raising here.

Coming back to range I would love to have sth more to my nfd like a Q for example.
Would also love to hear other thoughts

Yeah I was just thinking of it as 99 and bd sd does give some extra equity so it's not quite plain nfd. That with being versus shortstack might make x-r ok option. Some Qx might also bet-fold though as said this cbet size is usually decreasing it quite a bit.

Probably not big deal what line we take in the end.
