This was 2nd or 3rd hand so info about villain.

Villain defends BB and we flop a top set on a dry board.

We bet 75% and we get mini-raised. I thought about re-raising at this point but decided to just call and put in on turn.

Turn brings 5♣: which potentialy completes the wheel draw. Villain bets 75% and we get it in.

Would you re-raise the flop?

yes I would raise the flop:

- punish the minraise
- raise for value vs weaker sets you dont block
- make ir expensive for draws
- call topsets where you block mid/lowsets, block wraps heavily or at least have some backdoordraws

I´d reraise too since it´s the safe route against an unknown but against regular we have to call here some top-sets to protect our calling range. I´d prefer having some inside-wrap blockers though.

In general it can't be a bad thing to put more money to the pot with the nuts. My default would be to raise here. With reads/notes I might call, but as we have no such information just raise it.

Calling or 3betting seems decent options on the flop, but most of the time I would 3bet against a unknown to get it in the middle. Turn play seems standard. I don't think slow playing turn is a decent option. If villain would be aggressive post-flop I wouldn't mind it as PLO fish.

Cheers,
