Villain seems like solid reg. We are 135bb deep.

Flop with SPR 3.5 I would just raise. Here SPR is 5 and maybe that shouldnt really change situation? I just thought that villain stack off range is going to do pretty good as I dont really expect less than A8 to get it in. Well versus bottom of his range I can do ok but I thought I have good amount of playability with my hand and can potentially get some light barrels on turn with call.

Turn I dont see much merit in betting as I dont really need protection that much. Plus sometimes we might be drawing dead.

River I went for small value bet. Not sure if I should fold to x-r. Tough with having that A

Haha this time I would fold preflop even ip.

Single-suited Ace-high hands play really bad in 3bp even more against imba ranges that are too AA-heavy.

The way you played I bet half pot otr with the nutflush since I expect weaker flushes and bare trips to call that aswell so I guess with 1/3 we are missing some value.

This is spot where 3bet range is at its widest so it's not going to be that AA heavy. No brainer call for me with three broadway card and nut suit.

I like the hand as played except for the small riverbet vs reg but you already know my thoughts here ;)

Yes BU vs SB it´s a call indeed. If you have simplified your strategy.

I checked it.. at the sheets I have they say it is a fold 7% of the singlesuited Ace with 3 Broadways when BU vs SB. What I´ve learnt so far training with solver facing 3-bets I saw the pattern that ABB4 ABB3 ABB2 and ABB6 often are the fold candidates against 3-bets in general. Also kinda depends if it is AKJx, AKTx etc... Gotta double-check it with solver, but I haven´t unlocked it yet. I think it helps that the hand is not triple suit, those are pretty sure folds aswell. But yes you can simplify and call all ABBx when suited Ace no triple suit.

Another factor to evaluate if you can call is ofc dependant of villains 3bet range and what you have meant with "solid"... 3-bet ranges usually are not solid in terms of balanced at PLO50.

Spoiler

Those ranges usually are too heavily weighted towards :Ax::Ax: =)

Then move on to flop, solver raising alls triple nut suit and calling most of the singlesuited nutflushdraw like the one you have but raising aswell following a mixed strategy. I personally would be more inclined to call because...

And agree with the turn check.

I unlocked BU vs SB facing 3-bet now. Yes ABBx ss are a 100% call. I find those spots (facing 3-bet) still quite challenging.

They should be challenging, as in solver the EV of a call with this hand is almost -2bb. K-suited it drops to -3,3bb.

The more SB 3bets under 10% (what solver expects), the less EV the call has. Making this more close than no-brainer imo. :f_drink:

Yes that´s what I wanted to say.. Many people 3-bet way less and more defined than solver
