I'm grinding for 2,5M points race at bet365.
Last day today. Hope I can get to 5th place which would assure me ~1300$, which is more than 1/3 of my BR :) I mean, almost 1/2

congrats! =)

I'm curious: how many MP did you earn per day?

Here is my custom MP stat from HM. They are 99% correct, but I'm not sure if they really counted from 00:00 to 23:59 :) I know that at Mansion they didn't :P
Also, they calculated points for leaderboards a bit different.

17.8 - 2418,8 MP (17th place)
18.8 - 2922,15 MP (19th)
19.8 - 6049,75 MP (6th)
20.8 - 4654,95 MP (8th)
21.8 - 6422,85 MP (6th)

Distribution of Merit Points for higher places is... Strange. It should be progressive, but it isn't. So it is really not worth it going for 1st place.
With half a volume I put in on last 3 days, someone could be at 8th place with 50k points. And that's the most +EV, imo.

Place Merit Points
1st 125,000
2nd 112,500
3rd 106,250
4th 100,000
5th 87,500
6th 75,000
7th 62,500
8th 50,000
9th 37,500
10th 25,000
11th to 20th 18,750
21st to 30th 12,500
31st to 40th 9,375
41st to 50th 6,250

They did, but it's GMT, so it's 2:00 to 1:59am CET ;)

You're definetely right, but I'd like to clear 1st deposit bonus during the next round and dont want to play there so long to earn 200k MP, so will try to earn them in 5 days (including MP prize ofc)

I was of course talking about GMT 00:00 - 23:59 and I'm quite sure it wasn't that punctual. Don't remember why I am thinking that, tho :) Some bonus points didn't correspond.

Hey Corey. Just read your post about HEM. I left a response on my blog, but I wanted to get back to you about it quickly and ask some questions.

I have been wrestling with the idea of switching software for awhile. I have a fierce loyalty to PS.com, but Elephant is so clunky that it can be frustrating. What made you decide on HEM as opposed to PT3? Did you download the free trial or purchase immediately? PT3 allows limited features on its free trial, so Ii lost interest pretty quick and couldn't get a good assessment. Does HEM allow you to create your own categories to assign to hands?

And since I currently have database burnout, how easy or difficult is it to assign DBs to HEM and can they run off the same ones as Elephant. While I may find it pointless over time, I currently would like to set it up so that Elephant and HEM track simultaneously and have the same data, so I can open either one up and use them at will.

Will answer here too :)

I was loyal with Elephant too. But it was so slow and that was driving me crazy.

Via torrents I downloaded "cracked" version of HEM, because I only heard so many nice things about it + everyone was using it (large community) + developers are fast with needed updates, they answer very quickly on theirs forum (good support).

You can't connect HEM and Elephant database. They are different, so you have to start a new one. Import was really fast. Much faster than with Elephant. And the first thing I noticed was... Program opened in ONE minute. I clicked on Elephant, went downstairs to make a sandwich, a cup of cocoa, watch some TV and after 20 minutes, Elephant was still opening! Usually it took from 20 to 25 minutes to open. That is just not acceptable.

I was using it for 2 months and after that, I bought it, so I have legal HEM now

Download trial version and try it yourself.

Hi!

Greetings! (not only from the tables) :)

I guess HEM prizes vary, dependant where you buy it. Do you know what is the cheapest option and how much!?!

I bought it in the PS.de store! Guess that was a pretty good deal.

What's up. I downloaded the trial version and the hand import reports all my hands as errors and does not record them. Did you have this problem at first? Is Elephant "getting in the way" (although I don't see how really)?

Also, I see there is a hand replay, but is there a way to review hands in a format where you can make notes?

Hi, nice to see you here, my Nemesis _biggrin:
I bought it via PS store too. Deal as here on PS is pretty standard.
