Thanks 2 PokerStrategy! I just doubled Up to $100 with over 150 FPPoints.

Playing only 10 - 40mins in a day. Sometimes, dont play at all.

07/Aug:
I received my starting capital and started playing NL 0.10/0.25 and 0.05/0.10 cash game. Based on the Bankroll Management, i should ONLY play 0.05/0.10, however i found it very slow to increase my bankroll.

07/Sept:
I managed to double up to US$100.
Found out TT/JJ/QQ are almost useless :)
I Played with AA/KK/AK only.

Kinda feel bad when other players called me Mr. ShortStack, since i'm using short stack strategy to play with $5. (I learned this strategy from this site :) Should i argue with them?

I'm not sure what to say but.....

You shouldn't really be bragging about not following BRM and doubling up, because one day you will lose it all due to variance or bad play and you won't feel so big then.

+1 well said all too true ... poker is a very moody mistress ... she might like u one month but she can easily crack ur nuts for a few months on end ...

you haven't been struck by variance that's for sure.
not following BRM will lead you to 0$ most likely

besides doubling up isn't that hard. i've doubled up on NL5 in less than 2 weeks.
what's hard is dealing with variance and keep playing solid poker.
with a swing on NL25 you can easily lose it all

Ah well, good for you Justin. Well done. Keep it up!

And tell me what tables you play at so I can also join in :P

This is priceless... consider all the strategy articles rewritten! why on earth would you need BRM with that kinda strategy and understanding :f_confused:

yeah i've also been there done that.
Playing at smaller limits obviously takes longer to increase your bankroll, but also takes longer to decrease it. Which is why you should stick to good BRM!

AK is useless also. Only play KK and AA.

well you can also run into AA with your KK.
should probably only stick to AA

AA is too dangerous to play. Stick to 72o.

please please PLEASE stick to BRM

pokerstrategy's bankroll management plan is not conservative AT ALL. 30 buyins IMO is way too small for short stacking anyways. Why would you drop that already aggressive BRM plan down to 10 buyins? Be more patient. If you want to speed up the process, the best way is to just multi table. Play 8 tables at once (or whatever u can handle really) but make sure you have a good grasp of the basics. The money will come.
