Sweet! Go Team PokerStrategy! Go Yoghi! ♦
And ofcourse: Go Robbie en Elias! ♦
307 players signed up for day 1a, 193 of them are still playing.
Blinds are now 100/200.
Everyone is doing ok so far.
Nazgul lost a pot to Trader with AQ.
He made two valuebets on a Q53x board.
Trader called him two times and the river went check/check.
Trader had a 5 and a 3 and flopped bottom two.
I'm going to have lunch now. See you after!
Alright guys. I'm back. Had some shoarma but it wasn't really good so I didn't enjoy it that much. I hope noone busted out while I was gone.
Not too much going on right now so maybe there's time for some chit chat.
I played my first cash game ever at the victoria casino last night.
I played 1/2 and really saw some of the worst poker ever.
The most hilarious thing I saw was someone betting about 2/3 of a very big river pot. The other guy had at max only 20 pounds more and went all in. So villain must have gotten something like 15-20:1 on the call and almost instafolded his hand saying: wow, nice shove, really nice shove, you got me.
Then there was also this chinese guy who was calling ATC preflop without looking at his holecards. Even if people 3bet (which basically never happend) he would still call.
Funny table
Allanon is going up and down.
He was down to about starting stack when he openraised T8o on the button. BB called and flop came Q44. Allanon cbet and the other guy raised. He said he thinks this is almost always a bluff and so he called to bluff on later streets. The turn was an A. Villain bet again and Allanon called once more. Villain checked on the turn and a bet of Allanon was enough to make him fold.
A few hands later he found A:dQ:d on the BB. He called an openraise and a caller OOP to play a 3way pot. The flop came AQ2 with a flushdraw. Allanon checked and both players checked behind. Turn was a J bringing in the second flushdraw. Allanon bet 2800 in a 3400 pot. Freddy Deeb decided to raise 50k basically putting Allanon all in. He thought for a while and then openfolded his hand.
Wow! Trader is up to 85k already. He says he's been really happy with his play and he has a lot of confidence, He's just been playing every pot perfectly he says and obviously been winning a lot of them.
This probably makes him the current chipleader as the biggest stack reported on the pokerstars chipcounts page is 68k.

We will be doing video interviews tomorrow. Yeey!
We can ask the players about their first day of play and maybe even catch pokernoob during the breaks.
He decided to play day 1b because he realised Allanon had position on him and he wasn't looking forward to that.

Allanon has moved to Nazguls table. Nazgul has position on Allanon who has who has position on Chris Ferguson.
Trader just successfully defended his big blind with J:h5:h.
Flop came: A:cJ:s2:c and he called villain's cbet.
After that it was checked to the showdown and trader won the pot,
Chipstacks of the Team PokerStrategy.com players are pretty much the same.
We're going on a 75 min dinner break in a few minutes so you might not see me for a while. I'll try to get everyone's chipstack then.

Allanon has moved from Nazgul's table to... Trader's table.
This means that today, all three players have been playing vs each other but never all at the same time. Pretty funny.
Allanon just lost a flip. With 2 limpers in front of him, including Trader, Allanon raised the button. The SB, Arnaud Mattern who has just been introduced as a new Team PokerStars pro, went All in for about 20k. Allanon called with AK and was up against 99. He didn't hit.
Nazgul is out.
He had AA and reraised an MP openraise to 5000 on the big blind and got called.
Flop is J:sJ:d5:d with 2 diamonds.
Nazgul bets 3000
Villain calls
Turn is 4:d
Nazgul bets 6000
Villain calls
River is a 2:h
Nazgul goes all in
Villain calls
Villain shows 22 for full house.
Oh yeah, I forgot.
Yoghi lost a big pot losing overpair to a straightflush.
Pretty sick hand, The board was paired as well so would've been sick if Yoghi would've had a full house.
He only had a few bb left then but managed to double up again with A5.
Bongbob is in difficulties as well. he only has about 8k left.
Blinds are now 400/800 with a 75 ante.
