@superjunk
now i see the forum doesnt do PMs lol. anyway looking at your graph i can see your main problems are with steeling. with stats like 8/7 u can only expect less than 2bb/100 at best by playing like a bot.
give me an email at ishindar@hotmail.com and tell me the limit you play on and site and ill give you some tips on stealing. also how to make profitable plays using stats up to NL200 as thats all ive experienced so far.
ill mail u my graph and hope u can help me see some stuff u can help me with. would appreciate your opinons and help too.

sorry i dont skype :)

my WTSD% = 38.7%

Unfortunately in SSS the cards are a much more significant factor. Your stack is simply too small to demand respect, and so thats also why it is a profitbale strategy when playing premiums.

Thats not to say you shouldn't pay attention to stats and steal in right spots which we know you try.

What I am trying to say is, don't be TOO fancy with SSS. It is a solid winning strategy against idiots. All you have to do is find them, no need to try too many moves on good players. Table selection should be your focus IMO.

Can anyone post a SSS graph (at any limit) with positive showdown and non-showdown values? Sort of proof that it is possible.

I tried some experimental play at a low limit trying to make my non-showdown line positive. I figured the best way was to bet/broke more often to maximise fold equity. I also made much looser steals/resteals than I would normally make.

I found that although my non-showdown line became positive quickly the showdown line suffered drastically. The session as a whole was unprofitable (in terms of EV not results).

Excellent. So its definitely possible.

Can you give us minor details of how you play?

I assume that you are using advanced SSS techniques. I have a few points of interest:

- Do you follow the strategy articles rigidly with regards to steals/resteals and reraises?

- Do you isolate raise aggressively or not at all?

- Do you play (headsup) freeplays aggressively even without a hand? Do you go broke light in these situations or only with monsters? Is there a bet/fold possible in a freeplay?

Sorry if many of these questions are situational but your graph is impressive and should be an aim for many of the members here.

ive no problems putting u on the right track as best i can :)

i do use advanced SSS but fine tuned individual style.

my playstyle wouldnt suit everyone either as i only play 6 tables whereas most will play a lot more, this way i have a good feel for everyone at the tables and can target people. I also dont play many hands in a session, usually, as I have learnt the importance of stopping as soon as im up 2-3 buyins.

i dont follow the steal/resteal charts. i blind steal with any 2, if stats say the blinds fold > 80% but i keep my steal stat < 40%. if i get 3 betted, i dont call just shove with with AK, KK, QQ, jj but if i think hes a donk with Arag ill shove with a pocket pair. its important to keep your fold to 3 bet under 55% also. if the blinds are loose players and i cant steal them, i focus on restealing.

when i sit down at a table I always try to identify the following 2 situations.
- In position or blinds, I like to Isolation raise a lose player with a high fold to flop conti bet %. It can be combined with blind steal. Players behind must be tight. Ill raise 2bb if i want a call, 4 bb as standard and 5bb if i want him to fold.

- where i can 3 bet a blind stealer who has 40%+ ats and a fold to 3bet of > 70%, if he has a high fold to conti bet thats nice too lol.

some other key things.
against a tight player ill only enter a pot with AK KK QQ JJ
against a lose player ill play AA-77, AK-A8 if i feel i have an edge.
I will also play some agressive small ball poker in late position or the blinds. I try to see cheap flops and contend every cent. I believe this is a key thing, as it gives me a lose table image so i get called more often preflop with big hands.

My graph is the opposite of the OP's lol.
