I'm about 25/35th place, itm was 54 i believe. If i doubled up here I'd be around 6-8th i believe.

This guy had squeeze pushed me twice recently and both times I'd folded. Dont know much more about villian.

thoughts?

in this spot with ur stack and short stack small blind i open shove 66

i would not shove first in here.
would you shove AA-KK, AK , QQ in this spot with 16-17 BB ?
the only reason why you could shove here is not the SB !!! he doesnt matter at all.
the only reason you could shove is the squeeze player. becuase you dont really want to raise / fold against him AGAIN. but again the problem is:
you wouldnt shove your real good hands here !
if you shove in that spot i would always put you exactly on a small pair, which doesnt want to raise / fold !

this situation just sucks ♦

you can be pretty sure SB is all in if he has anything at all.
you know there is a big chance BB will squeeze if you raise and SB is all in because you raised/folded to his squeeze plays.

all this arguments look like you could really fold 66 in this spot

all you have is a very marginal hand, and a very marginal spot because of the players behind you.

if you feel uncomfortable at playing this table you can shove or raise/call
because of the odds you get when BB shoves.

but if you feel good at this table, and you feel you have an edge, you can fold 66 here because its really marginal (see reasons above)
