As I'm not working today I'll spend all of my time for poker. I'm gonna start the day with some theory. There are lot of useful aspects even in the beginner articles. The psychological articles are these I like the most because I often find myself reacting like I shouldn't which generates tilt. These articles really help me to stay focused after one or more suck-outs or a bad play.

  • Play like a machine!

I'm also going to watch one or two videos after reading some articles before I play today.

I played around 2.500 hands on 10nl for now and all in all I'm confident how I played. I already received some nice suck outs but they don't bother me even a tiny bit. I can't tell it often enough. These psychological articles are really helpful when it comes to mindset.

I quit for today... cu!

I was pretty pissed today as I played one table at work today and lost around 250bb because I wasn't concentrated... I was able to win a bit back and on top of that I opened my FTP account in which I found around $20. That's awesome!
Right now I'm really working on my game so I'll stick to four tables as I'm getting less focused at six tables. At the weekend there's maybe something like a mini challenge if I don't have to work too much.

I played some really really bad poker today. Maybe because I'm a bit tired since I didn't sleep that much the last days... I'm not sure but what I'm sure about is that I begin to fall in this automatic poker mode again. I'm just starting to grind without real good session reviews and without posting hands I'm not sure about. I really have to change that again. I think I'll take a shower now and then read an article or watch a video and get back at the tables. I think I'm going to play the next session without stats to focus at all the tables without getting too deep into something that's not there. I tend to over-analyze situations based on stats from really small sample sizes.

After playing my first hands on 10nl and dropping five stacks I realized that I play much too loose for the microstakes. When I started playing on 2nl I stuck to a tight preflop rasing range but after watching cYde's 1000nl video I somehow started to try to exploit every opponent in every hand I play. That somehow works for the first 30 to 45 minutes but after this period I'm mostly braindead but keep playing very aggressive without thinking that much. That's when my Non-Showdown-Winnings kept going down. I hope I can become tighter again by reading two articles and watching one video now. And I promise I'll do a session review today but yesterday I was just too pissed off ;)

Today wasn't a special day... played around 1.000 hands with a slightly profit. Also played two $3 MTT's and two $1 sats.

Tomorrow I might make a poker break as I don't think I should play every day. Maybe I'll play some hands to collect 10 points to get into the raffle.

just finisched another minisession of 269 hands. i know i should play more but today, i don't know why, it was quite hard to play 6 tables.

but it went good, except one dumb bluff for more than half a stack, but still am nearly 2 stacks up.

i am still content (sounds weird!!!) with my game so far (still many leaks but imo better than before), also hit good and got paid off today. just feeling comfortable at the tables and having fun again playing poker (as long as i win :))

here is one hand i played today. does anybody call here on 4nl? i almost snapfolded. if anybody likes to mention, i know i shouldnt limp pre ;)

I changed something in the first post because I'm also playing the euro and pound tables in titan. This is why I changed the overview to a big blind value rather than dollar. Due to that I had to remove the total rake stat because HM does not differ between currencies.

After drinking coffee with a friend who plays mostly PLO and mixed games I started first to play Triple Draw 2-7 Lowball where I lost some money and then plo2 and plo4 including one $1 PLO mtt where I came out 9th with $10 profit. That was great fun. For now I'm sticking to NL but as soon as I have a solid br again I'm sure I'll start with studying PLO and maybe some other games.

I'm curios to see how it will work. :)

Great blog,

In answer to your question, do i like germans? I can't say I've ever tried one, but us English will eat anything with chips

No seriously, all the Germans I've encountered are very friendly people and it's great that we have a number also posting in the English community.

Keep up the good work chaps.

Best regards,
